Jajaja marshall hiss 🤷🏻♂️🤦🏻
LIghts and Pickups
I’ll be the first to say, hunting sometimes just doesn’t go perfectly. Mishaps happen when we don’t want them to. Personally worst one I’ve had was on a large doe and I ricocheted my arrow off a tree and hit her high in the peak of the shoulder, arrow never broke through and never was able to recover her. Still bothers me 3 years later.
It sounds like your bridge isn't grounded properly or at all. Either way, it's a ground issue unrelated to the amp.
guitar is not grounded properly, or the pickups are not shielded
The 130 grain barnes ttsx bullet is awesome! That being said barnes needs to design a 140 grain 30 cal bullet with a higher bc probably in the low to mid .4s pushed at 3000fps plus in 308 👌
Nice first deer. Looks like a great shot. Congratulations!
I love to hunt to
Surge protection power is recommended for this
Does it do it without the guitar plugged in? If no its not the amp. Does it do it with just the lead plugged in. If yes try a different lead. If no its the guitar. Check the bridge and pup grounding and for shorts in the wiring. If its the amp take it to a tech. There be dragons inside. 200+v dc hurts.
Check both ends of the amp plug. Look for corrosion.
who ya shootin' at?
That’s a nice new effect lol 😂 I know it’s not the amp just add a beat to and see what happens lol 😂 🎼🎸
Ground. Try a socket in the kitchen
What distance was this? Have you tried the factory Barnes 130s in your Tikka?
190 yards. I haven’t tried the factory ammo these are handloads.
rat foot pedal lol - the cause
First, that isn't "hiss" that's 60 cycle hum. Are you playing a guitar with single coils? If not, the ground wire in your guitar and/or your cable are bad. Also, you have a tube amp positioned in a corner and right up against a wall outlet...you're probably picking up interference from the outlet. Try moving it out of the corner and away from the outlet. Also understand that many things can produce hum from your amp...TV's, PC's, laptops, monitors, florescent or neon lights, dimmer switches, virtually any type of energy sources will do that if they're near the amp.
It's not the amp. It can be variable things. First check grounding issue. Then, the environment. Things like light switch dimmers
I bet it single coil pickups on the guitar. Also look how close is the outlet is.
Grounding issue
You need to try another wall socket - if that socket is not grounded it will always make that noise
Is that Ed Bruce on the right?
Real country
go cry about it. haha jk, just another one of my iconic jokes 😆
Just me who only clicked cos I saw a proco rat distortion
Always my favorite ❤
Your guitar isn’t grounded
It’s a shame country isn’t country anymore. It started going another direction in the mid 70’s and has gotten worse. Sure glad for u-tube. W S M plays a lot of oldies at night
Not amp hiss. That sounds like external interference, probably when you have your guitar volume dimed and you’re not touching the guitar. Any rig would be noisy that way
Check the ground in your guitar body cavity
Great singer
Good shot!
single coils
Not 60 Cycle Hum. That sounds different.
Mine did that. Try plugging in the cord in the back again or adjust it. Mine was loose
Try turning all your lights off, or if you have it plugged in by a computer move it. Sometimes that helps. But that's perfectly normal
Cheap guitar wires cheap guitar or maybe you just need a Noise Gate
Do you have any pictures or video of the recovery?

@@charltonlwalker he got a good hit.
Its the guitar, it needs to be earthed
I agree. Bury it.
I’ve picked up some of these ttsx 130 gn. For my 308 Win. I’m curious what powder you’re using and your load weight.
Either your guitars grounding cable is not connected to the bridge and pots or you amp has a bad grounding connection. Or the socket may be issue. All minor issues.
Get a noise gate pedal and it will be dead silent
Noise gates are a last resort. They will diminish some of the tone
@@terrybowen9810 some do. They have good ones. Boss etc...
@Jack-zc9el I've used them Tone is always compromised. It's not that I'm saying not to, but there are other ways to take out white noise. There's even an electro harmonic hum debugger. A digital filter that doesn't suck tone out. But you want to exhaust all options before going to the noise gate or suppressor. You want to try to work around your environment. Check cables. Electrical rf interference before doing that. They are always good in a pinch, but lf its not the guitars problem then go to a pedal. I would actually recommend the EH Humdebugger tbh
@@terrybowen9810 Yeah, my fender jmj hums when your not touching the strings bc they dont insulate the inside of the body. Crazy for $1,300 lol. My favorite bass to play and im too lazy to gut it and insulate bc I play so much. 🤪
@Jack-zc9el there's no way to get around it, especially with gain. Creating a lot of headroom helps to a point. If your using single coil especially. It helps to bring a gate or suppressor just in case. Never know what environment is walking into. With gigs, you just need a quick fix especially dealing with rf frequency
plug it in another outlet, and see if the hum goes away, if not, it's your cord or the guitar is not well grounded
Roll the guitar volume off. That will show you it's not the amp it's something else.
Rest in heaven 🙏 Charlie Walker; Archie Campbell, Grant Turner, and all of our other loved ones who have gone ahead, 💙 🙏 😢 💔 ❤️, but who will never go away 😢 🙏 💙 💔 😉
😅love his voice
An interesting bit of trivia is that the voice over introducing the show was made by Country Music Hall of Fame member, and long time WSM radio personality/Grand Ole Opry Announcer, Grant Turner! Born in Abilene Texas, as Jesse Granderson Turner, in the early 1900's, Grant started working as a radio announcer at WSM AM 650, Grant worked at WSM Radio and WSM TV Channel 4, an affiliate of NBC, until his death from an aortic aneurysm a few hours after a Friday night Grand Ole Opry performance that he had worked announcing reading the commercials, and introducing the segment hosts.
This is amazing 👏 Charlie Walker is a Country Music Legend 🎶 Rest in Heaven sir 🙏 ❤️ 💙
Top !
I picked up a new Tikka T3 light in 308 this year. Loaded up the same bullet over TAC powder getting around 3100 fps. I killed 2 deer so far with it. The load wasn't overly impressive in terms of accuracy - about 1.3" for a 3 shot group at 100 yards but it is excellent on game. Congrats on the first deer!
I use Ramshot TAC. I’ve got the load in my book but it’s on the light end.
@@charltonlwalker My groups sucked at lower powder charges. When I got around 50 grains of TAC (if I recall correctly), much improved but still not impressive. Inside of 300 yards I'm fine
@@derekmcmurry my groups are excellent out of my Tikka with lower powder charges
Sounds so cool!
