A very commendable zoom program. May I suggest that one must not lose hope in the power of The Creator to “renew the face of the earth” - which is a recurrent biblical message. Sure we must do whatever we can to preserve our ecology, but we must be hopeful that God who brought Creation to this point in time with all its complex elaboration will continue to bring it forward to even greater and marvellous ever spiralling expression and growth. Teilhard, Rohr, Berry and many countless others are articulating a New Story which can still spread like wild fire when conditions are right - which only the Creator can judge.

I was privileged to watch this with the Sisters in Sacred Heart Convent. I was truly moved to tears. May God continue to bless these courageous women and their mission. ❤. RIP Sr. Rosamond.

What a pity not a religious habit to be seen

He was a great guide for us at the St. Mary Gate of Heaven Academy. While parish priests are not technically expected to be involved, he brought compassion and sanity to our work. A gem.

Soon there will be no Sisters of St Joseph left.Shame on them for destroying their congregation.

WE worked with Sr. MARY JAMES for several years in Ethiopia Addiss Ababa @ Bethlehem Family Services she was a mother, a good friend , a councler......for all of us. She was our example in all direction of her life. Her love always stay in our heart.

What is sad is that none of them are in their religious habits. The deceased sister should have been dressed in her traditional religious habit.

He was my priest and my friend since I am 15. I am now 65. He saved my life many times over the years and was always there when I needed him. I will miss him terribly.

You will always be in our heart and memories!

Gerry Fitzsimmons (“Fitzie”) as we knew him, was simply the best. Of the many priests I have befriended in my long life, none was more devoted or committed to caring ministry than he. Having endured a 21-month ALS purgatory, he surely was warmly and immediately welcomed into eternal life in heaven. God bless you Fitzie. We prayed for you in your hour of need. Thank you so much for this reflection on Mr. Butker's speech which I thought revealed more about him personally and his need for order, structure, hierarchy, and tight simple answers to complex questions. I appreciated Cristian pointing out his young age and profession that requires total commitment. I wonder if his sports training along with religion don't also assist in his embrace of warrior religious worldview. Cristian and Sr. Joan also revealed a lot about themselves in the commentary, one that sees the bigger, diverse church, looking for common ground to bind each other in love of Christ by an evolving faith. I do share Mr. Butker's frustration that the church is not where he would like to see it only for me at the opposite end of the spectrum.

The image and video angles are very much improved from the previous in house-streaming but the audio is of very poor quality. Hope this is resolved because it takes so much away from the experience.

Thanks for this talk, I learned a lot about the Sisters of Saint Joseph who taught me in grade school.

Why doesn't this guy preach the values of the Presbyterian Church he was married in? We can't be Mormon, or Jewish or married in a mosque. Be who you were born to be.
