I love that Shen might have killed himself on purpose. As his rage subsided, he realized what Po said is true, no matter what scars or wounds do. The actions you take in the moment are what matter, and his actions in the moment have been heinous. He doesn't know what to say or do about it, but feels the knives in his sleeves and buys himself time to think of what he wants to do. He accidentally cuts a rope, and then another, and he knows this is what's keeping the cannon up. He knows that by attacking here he can't say "let's be buddies" or "forgive me I'm nice now" after and be fine. He will always be known as evil despite any potential future actions. The next ropes aren't accidental, and when the canon falls, he sees it, and closes his eyes.

Was excited when the sequel came out, loved the movie but this moment emotionally broke me, never cried during a film before.

Simply the best movie of the whole saga

I'am three months late, but I am going to share this anyway. 13:46 That is not the only changes they made in the Spanish dub, there are two other more ones. The first is just before the scene in which the Soothsayer shows Shen that his future had not changed ends. When the Soothsayer takes another bite out of Shen's cloak, originally he says "Stop it!"; but in the Spanish version they changed it to "¡No te la comas!" (Don't eat it!). Futhermore, before the crazy peacock kill our good ol' boy Wolf Boss, instead of just ordering him again to "Shoot them", Shen says "Dije que les dispares a todos, ¡Fuego!" (I told you to shoot them all, fire!). Which is definitely a lot darker since it implies he is fully aware and Ok with blasting all his wolf army if it means killing Po. Anyway, that's all. Just in case I would like to clarify this dialogues are from the Latin-American version of the dub, as there is a distinction between it and the one used in the Spanish version, like of actual Spain (or Gallega, as we like to put it Argentina).
