It was half a movie. The second half and ending was predictable cliche claptrap👍

Great vid, althought calling it a "masterpiece" is bit of a hyperbole. I find the movie bit heavy-handed and I find the acting too far too mellow, like every wokeup 5 minutes before recording. But aside that: What the hell is going on with the dislikes? There's like 10x more of them than views lmao I can just imagine some Vietnamese bot farm with some Reddit fedora guy there being like "I hate Fantastic Mr. Fox so much! I'm flagging it and send my bots to dislike all content about it!"

Me as humble but Still somewhat academic feel annoyed or disgusted by those juggeling of quotes from here to there. For the case of Vaishnavism religion for example the movie is simply wrong. 25.12.? No, 8th of month bhadras (moon calender), virgin birth like Jesus? No, father is Vasudeva (im Nano bhagavate vasudevaya SB1.1) carpenter like Jesus? No, cow boy (SB10). Why everything’s false?? Could have been interesting to work with other right data other then the hollies and Radiohead. Oh America nowadays. What happened? Sorry. Movies is not science, but this is good for people who feel it. India simply cut the Vaishnava scenes out, because too annoying. Ok. Good movie. Grants best performance though.

Happy to see The Snowman get a mention, it gets played on TV every year in the UK. My favourite Christmas film will always be Elf.

It was my favorite horror film (and potentially favorite overall film) of 2024. As a woman though it scared the shit out of me.

It was an excellent thriller, i enjoyed it even though it conjured so many complex questions of life and religious beliefs the actors did a fantastic job a very good horror film.

I agree that it is a complete crime that Toni Collete hasn't won an Oscar. But, as Weinstein and other scandals have revealed, these awards are corrupt, and more about back door dodgy deals, money and power. Not about acting talent.

She’ll probably win a noncompetitive Oscar if she doesn’t by the end of her career but she should’ve won one for Hereditary

Who wouldn't believe a charming Hugh Grant? 😂 I know I would have believed him. Loved him in this role!

I wasn't sure that I would like the movie. It wasn't made by Disney which was a motivator and I had never seen the play. I roughly knew what the story was about and decided to give it a go. I am glad I saw it. I'll be interested in seeing part 2 when it comes out.

I was about to go see Gladiator II, but when I saw Heretic was an A24 film, I thought I'd check it out. I always like their movies. I still haven't decided yet, but the review was great. Good luck with your channel

I'd Say What Makes it Such.. A Goode Film is Multifold; *Very* Impressive, Believable Acting - Solid Script - and a VERY Good Soundtrack w/Good if not Wonderful and Beautiful Cinematography to boot.. ... I'm Not (at all) Sure it's a Pandoras Box of Genuflect Material here (with Heretic) as (seemingly) is the case with 3,000 Years of Longing, Guardians of the Galaxy Volume Three, and The Batman - Nonetheless; I've Seen it Twice Now and the Second Time i liked it even more than the first go- --around.. ...and if opportunity arises; I'll see it more. Surprisingly Intellegent Film; and (along with The Peasants, Damsel, Furiosa, and Alien Romulus) One of the Best films of the year. 👍 I'd Also like to add that, while initially and on paper this (script) could be construed and viewed as mocking, belittling, and ridiculing Belief(s) and Religion.. Imho i think not.. (For me) (For those who are Interested in making this viewing experience a give and take relationship and conversation - -- (seems to me) it's a story about knowing What One Believes in and Why one Believes in it. Along with presenting the viewer with a Warning (of sorts) about Who one Believes.

Heteric?

One of the best movies I seen this year. This movies touches on a lot of different things that make some people cringe. Hugh was just setting them up like it a casual walk in the park. Personally, when I seen that house, I would have made a U-turn and call it a night. As for the girls, it was more of a psychological test and they knew there were not going to escape his dungeon. Well done with the review buddy.
