PRIME is the intersection of car life and knowledge. We see ourselves as automotive stewards, historians, enthusiasts, teachers and learners all at the same time. We’ve been involved with Japanese cars for a significant part of our lives and feel that there has always been a void in the representation of cars that hail from NYC and the surrounding areas. While we are based in NYC, we have no borders or boundaries. Our eyes are focused on global car culture. Brooklyn to Chicago, Thailand to Malaysia, Japan to South America, Germany to Dubai, and everything in between. Past, present and future perspectives of automotive culture and life style will be shared to inspire all who seek knowledge and good times.
We inside! JDM Night at Classic Car Club Manhattan.
As lifelong New Yorkers, we adapt to the lack of space but when given the opportunity to expand into more space even if it’s for one night, we’d gladly oblige. This was the case when Classic Car Club of Manhattan decided to have a night focused on Japanese automobiles and asked us for some prime examples. Naturally, we reached out to our friends at Crown Speed Lab, Petrolwerks, and ToughClub, curating the session with cars that represented Track, Rally, Street and Restored.
With indoor bans being lifted, it was a good opportunity to safely share food and engage in car talk under one roof. NYC is coming back and we are excited to reclaim our city. Shoutout to Classic Car Club of Manhattan for a great evening and including our community within yours. What an amazing space.
In this video produced by CrownSpeedlab, Vin takes us through the experience. Starting from prepping the Voltex S2000 for transport at the shop in Flushing. That's where we linked with the classic JDM legends like the Mitsubishi EVO 6 TME and the Nissan R34 GTR courtesy of Petrolwerks and one of the best JDM street spec Z33's in the country provided Tough Club.

As for street icons, we're not sure yet. It all depends on the timing, conditions of the city and the NYPD. Right now is very sensitive due to all of the "TAKEOVER" events that have literally pissed off the police. Thanks for the interest in the merch as well. They are sold out for now but we may make more soon.

Too many non RX7’s in this video. When I was in Japan for last year’s 7s day at the Mobara Twin Circuit I had to park my GTR outside because it’s not an RX7.

It's really funny seeing him get into that car LMAO. They are stuiped small inside. I drove one when I was in Japan and I almost didn't fit. What is weird because I have a classic mini and I am 40lbs heavier now then when I was in Japan because and I fit fine. An that's a clown car not a sick car bro car... Also don't say oh well it's a sports car because you do need a helmet and other safety gear an most times a roll cage. How much space will you have after that an the track is we're a "sports" car is meant to be.
