I met Elmore Leonard one night when we throwing a party in our Cockaboose for my wife's aunt, who was about to have her papers inducted into the Fritz Hollings wing of Thomas Cooper ... and up walks the curator with this skinny guy who I immediately recognized from the back cover of all of his books I had read. He drank one little thingy of Blanton's with us and ate a little piece of grilled mahi ... then he left. He committed his papers to the Thomas Cooper later that night, from what I understand. Unfortunately, he passed not long afterwards. He never let-on to us that he was terminally ill that night.

By this time the first of the new Justified-City Primeval episodes have come and gone, and boy, do we need the old Kentucky Raylan Givens back! I would bet that 90% if not all Justified followers would rate the new series a losing cause compared to the first. Just not good!

I do believe ole' Seth is in need of anger management.

I had so much sympathy for Choo-Choo. The poor guy had been dissed and scorned his entire life because of his intellect, and fought back in the only way he could. He didn't have the appearance of someone born with a mental disability, so I'd guess he'd been severely mistreated as an infant or small child -- probably involving repetitive cranial impact (the symptoms appear similar).

So very disappointed in the new Justified…between the Uber whiny daughter and the overbearing defense attorney I couldn’t even make it through season 1.

Timothy Olyphant and Walton Goggins were the greatest double act on TV. It was a perfect pairing.
