Is there a way to connect an external foot pedal to the Apollo that will enable talkback? Footswitch

I have an Apollo Twin as well, I have the main microphone on Analog 1 that is used to record in Logic etc, but recently I wanted to get a microphone to do livestream, be able to control with my Elgato streamdeck , and use as a talkback mic so i got the Elgato DX microphone. The Universal Audio softwear is detecting it, it is a dynamic mic that does not need 48v phantom power btw. but in Elgato WAVE LINK softwear it does not recognize I have a device connected. Anyway u think I can get this to work how Im wanting it to work? BTW My UAD Twin is cascadeded to 2x Satalites for DSP and then routed to my computer. But that should not affect Elgato WAVE LINK not reading it.... I got the talkback feature to work but now I'm stuck on gettting it to work in WAVE LINK so I can set it up on my streamdeck for livestreams studio sessions etc..

Running software instruments through analog gears can be interesting and fun ...I used Audient ID22 as my Audio Interface for this Video and took advantage of the Audient burr brown AD/DA converter, bypassing the preamp on my channel one by connceting the signal of the software bass out of output 3 into my analog gears (UA710 twin finity ,DBX 166XS Compressor ,and Soundcraft signature 22mtk EQ)and back into the return on my channel 1...The UA710 is actually good for attenuation as it has a Gain and Level know to allow you dial in the amount of TUBE/TRANSFORMER Saturation and adjusting the output level to maintain the gainstage before hitting the DBX Compressor...How do you approach this process with your current Audio gears ?

Thank you. In Ableton, you can go to the input configuration in preferences, and the talkback mic is already set to 15 and 16. You can enable those inputs. Now in session view, you can use it as a MIC.

so you are saying that the Twin has a talkback mic built in to the interface? You have to use one of the mic pres to plug in a mic?
