My mom used to own the hair salon and convenience store 🥺
Happy New Year! tHanks for a very interesting visit.
That shirt goes hard, Jeff!
I just saw Fallingwater recently and what a disappointment it was! Under repair construction, and no Falling Water due to a Drought, didn't go in the kitchen, or service quarters.😪I'll try to go back, but 3 Hours away from where I live, hopefully! ...Peace.

Happy New Year to Next Pittsburgh from Las Vegas! Wow, what an creative story and what a win for Pittsburgh. Wishing them and you only continued success. I love these type of stories and enjoy watching the location,as I grew up in Bloomfield!
Very useful insight for somebody who owns a record label in the pgh area. You should look into covering the Green Beacon art gallery in Greensburg and Local 724 in Beaver falls.
I saw the CBS Pittsburgh segment on this place recently but this coverage is a LOT better, thanks for sharing
I have been there its fun going in the old factory.
Jesus Christ is resurrected, he's not on the cross. The Lord Jesus Christ is in all of his believers and followers❤️🔥🕊🇮🇱✡️🕎🕎🙏🦅🇺🇲🛐☦️🐕🦺🎄🐾
My mama’s family is from Donora, and I spent many summers there as a kid in a house at the corner of 8th street and Norman Ave. I remember a siren that when off at 10pm for those under 16 to be off the streets!
this is great!! most people have no idea what it takes to make sure they have the safe water to keep them alive.
I LOVE books and bookstores!!!
very interesting!!! this is something I've always wanted to try!
The City of Champions!
Buffalo Blues restaurant was in there Palorea leather furniture was in there
Good to see Boaz doing this! I am privileged to have been briefly interviewed because I do pawpaw parties. It was the timeframe of the 40s that led to pawpaws becoming rare in highly industrialized areas like Donora that led to the extirpation of a butterfly called the zebra swallowtail. Previously I thought that it disappeared earlier but the evidence points to the war effort so I can blame N*zis for a lot of it.
Awesome! Loved this
love your work
109 Bertha Ave. Grandma's house.
very interesting, thank you
literally so cornyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy "my fat ass is not a costume" its so tone deaf and self absorbed and precisely the type of thesis that I hate in a creative. if youre enlightened and all bodies are beautiful why are you continuing this self hate by giving fatphobia the time of day to waste your creative talents commenting on being big backed. exercise regularly, eat well and please drop the victimhood hamskin.

well done and thank you for exploring this social taboo within our society
Beautiful roof
Very thought provoking
A black hole for mail. Absolutely the worst. My packages sit here for days ands don't move at all. Then they vanish.
seems like my package was a diamond in the rough, it was stuck in Warrendale but FINALLY after 36 hours it goes to Pittsburgh
Fabulous Garden, very inspiring!

This should NOT be a "secret!" But a lesson as to the effects of UNREGULATED ECONOMIC "PROSPERITY." Regulations exist due to this and similar acts of corporate malfeasance. Any regulatory change deserves and requires a"scalpel to trim," and NOT a sledgehammer or axe to obliterate. For if the "children are truly our future," we owe them at a minimum. An inhabitable world with breathable air and drinkable water!
Thank you for a great article would love to hear more 😂❤
I can see Donora from my home. Directly across the river. 😐
What a lovely interview. Thank you. We all need to hear about surrounding small towns and to not forget about them and their struggles and most of all, importance to and for the community. I'm from Pittsburgh and would love to visit.😊
Thank you John for showing us your house. 😊
Sooo no one in North America had found an arrowhead or spear head prior to 1976. B.S.
😊
I want to know how they preserved their flora. They looked great!
Thanks for the behind the scenes, this was very cool!
I went last night. The exhibit is spectacular... as always
Beautiful structure..never noticed the 2 chapels on the roof from ground level😮
GORGEOUS building. Why can't we have buildings like this today?
Cost, mainly. Also, modern building regulations. And the lack of available expertise in specialty trades.
It is very true.I stuck my tongue out at the picture broke out in Hives that evening
