Wrong. Not all rotten meat gives dots. If u are playing something that can eat rotten flesh, a rotten body will show up as the diet it would give if it were on your diet (even if it isnt). So like, cerato for example. If a cera comes across a rotten galli it will give it bars. I dont recall if galli is on ceras diet but I think its not. So it gives the bars diet when its rotten but no diet when its not rotten. Schooling fish give dots when rotten because they show up as dot diets for dinos that do have them.

@@matthewaussurin3566 Because I have a tendency overlook organs I guess. I’m at the point where I might just leave a sticky note saying “organs exist” because half the time I forget they do.

@@AnotherSeeker I appreciate this guide! I’m sure if my croc wasn’t so fat I could’ve made it, but I decided to go on the verge of 100%. I’ll try this out with a smaller deino and see how it goes.

Also, you can sprint underwater or on land, down to 75% and then you can keep walking while regaining stam. If you pass 75% , use the crouch walk and you will also regen stan while still moving. Best practice,... is practice tho. Actually making land routes between water, learning the exact path. Deino life suxks tho o.k. Eventually. You will run into a pair of friends if not a whole group. Best is fringe, guerrilla tactics of you are solo And currently, i have settled on 5% extra dmg on bleeding foes, 10% dmg on weak foes. And 15% healing all around

@@AnotherSeeker I’m trying to get that stamina trick down although I often struggle to realize once I pass 75%. I’ve thought about printing out a gas gage or something to stick on my monitor lol.

@@GallantSkink the top of the two side claws my friend. If you stop your sprint and those claws are full, you can walk. If the claws are even a little bit dark at the tips, then crouch walk until you can walk. I soley use .... just the tips......as my reference. Seriously too mad to play again for like a whole f'n week

The only way he was able to destroy bases was because there’s a setting making it so if you’re gone for a few weeks people can take your stuff. I went into the server settings after the “incident” and made it to where you would have to be gone for 2 months.

@@GallantSkinknot shaming it’s js a weird tactic lmao. Next time you should try to go either highland or south. South is kinda dry but easier so I would recommend the highlands but it is harder there.

Also best mutations is the day time mutation, speed, and any attack mutation Defeat Pete uses those 3 😁👌

I had to find that out the hard way lol. Thanks for the tip on good Deino locations, I used to play Deino a lot as well but this was one of my first times playing it since the new map released.

@@GallantSkink yeaaa i was lost and confused as a deino at first on gateway hahah , ideal spwn are swamp/water acess then if water access you close to walk to highlands lake and if swamp yu close to south river so

Thanks for the mutation tips! This has me thinking, if I had an alt account where I could monitor the weather and switch to Deino when it rains, I could basically go anywhere and live in a small pond.

@@Gamartt As much as I hate Stegos, I feel like that’s a bit too much. Of course they’ll probably do like they did with Legacy and make the Rex hard to grow.

A modern day croc could rip a stegos head off could you imagine what a trex could do to it

@@AdamReynolds-m8k There’s not doubt a Rex could obliterate a Stegos skull. They probably shouldn’t make it that powerful in the game though or else the Rex would be unstoppable.

I did a poll asking if I should move to the new ark map and so far it’s leaning towards yes. Since the new map comes out September 4th and editing takes a bit it’ll probably be around a week until the next Ark video. I don’t think the employee has gotten many dinos killed recently.

I’m glad you liked the video. Mixpacking “at least the coordinated kind” ruins the game. The problem is most unofficial severs I’ve played on have way too many rules and official is essentially the Wild West.

I didn’t even notice that but I do hear a second death noise after mine.
