I've been thinking about how to this for weeks. My stumbling was how to sync the laft and right rod rotation. Brilliant! Love hore you've set it up to swap top plates, too. I assume for different size bit heads.

thats a LOT of tools for "the easiest and cheapest" anything. table saw, (compressor,) nail gun etc..

just buy an 18v caulking gun. i have the Makita sausage style one for edpm. i only have it though as i do regularly paste a run as wide as a hotel or as tall (5 stories of constant beading and edge sealing)

Creo que el corte del tornillo en forma diagonal para levantar o bajar el Reuter es innecesaria con solo poner una arandela de presión entre ambas tuercas y socarlas bien, sería más que suficiente, por lo demás esta muy buena la idea, Felicitaciones.

This type is good but needs two metal plate left and right side of the ruler otherwise the metal will scratch the wood , make the ruler loose.

Great video. One criticism, please lower the saw blade height on the table saw. In my humble opinion, way too much exposed blade.👍

I like the trick of cutting the threaded rod at an angle. Very clever.

But, but . . . it's a simple solution. How is anyone supposed to use this idea to make monstrously overpriced woodworking accessories? Oh! Never mind.

The build is excellent but yo I’m losing your fingers or a hand if you don’t use a push stick when using your table saw! It made me very nervous for you pushing the ply past the rotating blade!

Props for making this lift. But I would use the threaded rod from a vice not those ones. They aren't meant to be used that way. In a while you have to replace it because of tread wear.

I am amazed at this video, Thank you. Do you have plans for this ... I realise much of the measurements would vary due to the type/brand of router that is used, but perhaps the measurements that you used could be a guide to those of us too lazy/unable ( ..😉) ...

So, what is the purpose of angle cutting the threaded rod?

What bits can you use on a standard trim router the speed is over the rpm limits of the bits , you have any trouble with this?

After watching you build your own, like the person said with the cost of plywood and all the tools you used , it wood be cheaper to just buy one and sit on the couch scratching your ass , but your looks great job

Really liked this, as many others have said if only I had thought of/done this myself. I loved the way that unlike most of polished unachievable sub-mm perfect woodwork we see portrayed on utube I could see the same tools/methods and techniques I would use myself with all the same niggily wee (entirely understandable) errors. Ok I'd make many more!!

With the price of plywood nowadays it is almost cheaper to buy one

What are the measurements?

The lead screw scarf joint held fast by two nuts was kinda clever. I hope you put some thread locker on it though.

Hi Andrew, i wanted to let you know i made one using your concept. It worked out great. I built it into my table saw bench. I see you built 2 versions of it. I built mine based on your first version. The difference is i used a long hex nut, which i cut in half. I just wanted to thank you so much for sharing. LouR Waxhaw, NC, USA
