A rainy ride out with Annies Outlaws
A ride with Annies Outlaws to the White Bridge and Khun Tan station on a very wet day. So wet that my camera faltered, it lost audio at one point and failed to record at one point. Unfortunately at a temple I went across waterlogged Lichen/Moss which was like Ice. So, finding myself on the deck surrounded by helping hands, I was hauled to my feet as was my bike. My bike came off very lightly, just the engine guard pushed in an inch or so, no scratches. I unfortunately pulled a hamstring so needed help to get back on! Thankyou to all for your assistance.

Just for the benefit of others living in Chiang Mai in case they never knew of the existence of this facility. I was visiting a stroke victim in here which I have done nearly every week since he was admitted nearly 4 years ago.

Cheers mate, was a bit of a wet one! Hope that hamstring is easing up!!!!!
Hi Steve...still hurts but easing a bit!
😊
Cheers Derek, was good to see you!
And you mate...until the next one
Cheers Derek, enjoyed it!
Thankyou
Only been there once for a funeral when amazingly we bumped into you and Colin as we left. No clicks now as you say
Well done Derek. That was an intersting peak at a wonderful instution, set within beautiful surroundings. Lovely staff too. Got to admire Colin's tenacity and patience.
Thanks Ron I've sent the link to Martin as well.
30 years ago on 100cc scoot it was something of an adventure as there was no buildings anywhere. The forested area has shrunk over the years.
Takes me back. Sometimes on Sundays I would go for a thrash around the loop to feed my appetite for dinner.
Thanks for the ride Derek, how many miles was the trip? 73
Not that far, 188km door to door going and 140 coming back. Not far in miles but it is not the simplest ride! It shoukd be in 4k quality if UA-cam get around to it. Only do these as its free storage!
Enjoyed the 'ride' Derek, certainly some rough bits of road surface in places.
I was quite happy with the audio on the original Osmo but the Osmo 3 reacts totally differently.
Took me 2 years to work out a decent audio setup, hopefully you will do it faster 😉😉
Nice report Derek. It looked like a well disciplined, non egotistical group. Smaller bikes sure enable 'smell the roses' style riding. What was that red bike at the dam?
That was Robert's (same passport as yours) Glittery Rebel. The road from the bridge has been vastly improved considering we were crawling before and still grounding thr bikes. The section where I dropped the NC is now concrete.
Nice drone shots.
And the car at 36 mins. On the phone perhaps!
At 2' 15" a Chinese electric 'Ora Big Cat' at around one million baht.
Honda NC750X, 20 year old Honda Phantom and what were the other two bikes?
CB500F & CB500X
How excellent that they left that tree there at 22'.50". 👍
From 24' 08". 💩👎🙄👽
That little N Max did a terrific job coping with those gnarly inclines. Drive belt sure was smoking on the worse bits. All together, a varied and fascinating circuit. Wouldn't want to ride it in the rain though!
As Dellboy's riding partner for that circuit I can say this loop is one of many very attractive rides out from Chiang Mai.
That was a nice loop. Well done 👍
Protected tree in the middle of the road. Love it. 👍 Side-car rally. Love it. Missed the most interesting part of 118. What was that coupe at Terminal?
It said an Abarth powered Fiat
At 20'47" was that a mobile phone on the back of Orange Man's Honda?
Unfortunately yes. It was lost shortly after. Well spotted!
What a complete prick. Little men with big toys and larger egos.
