That is not exactly true. We had 19 vehicles in our convoy, and the trail wasn't just what you've seen. We had a blast!
what was the solution, if any? i have the same issue with the R1S since delivery. trying to get it to perfection.
After 4 service appointments and no solution ,they replaced the steering rack and some upper arm because mine was pulling to the right, and the steering wheel was offset slightly. Since than no more problems. Driving better than when it was new!

@theimmigrantrx it was cover under the warranty. But as you mentioned it was frustrating
rivian replaced my steering wheel last year, with a heavier one. i'm going to a trusted and recommended 3rd party to do high speed balancing. if that still doesn't solve the shimmy, i'll be keeping my SC appointment at the end of April. looks like folks also had their steering column or rack replaced, along with upper control arms?
once all the snow stuck inside your rims gets done melting your vibration will be gone ..
Did you check to make sure there isnt snow in your rim causing imbalance leading to the wheel shake?

From what I can see the load index on that tire is 114. Rivian I believe originally came with some load index 115 tires and now they are 116 (my R1S 22s). That tire (if indeed 114 load index) would not meet the minimum Rivian spec. Be careful particularly if you tow or carry load.
This is the second season on the tires with about 8k miles on them, Took it to Rivian and they said it was OK. I wish I would have the studs installed when I purchase them.
That’s good to know. I have been looking for winter tires that are at least 116 load index. My costco wouldn’t even install tire with 115. Safe driving!

this would bother me….that car is way to expensive for the climate system to just be ineffective past a certain temp.
If your AC is set to use outside air then it's slightly pressurizing the cabin and the air has to escape somehow.
That must be, if I turn the fan OFF, it stops bubbling
@@ioanw972 try the recirculation button and it will use air from inside the car. That'll also help make it colder or warmer as well. The button looks kinda like an elongated C with an arrow on the bottom
Check the seal on the outside and make sure there isn't a leaf or stick stuck in there. air is getting in somehow. Is it really cold where you are?
It is very cold but UT does the same on the drivers side window. If I turn the fan OFF the bubbles stop
Land Rover, I would take the long-wheelbase V8 engine. Why the long-wheelbase because of the stability and ground clearance of the vehicle major stability of long- the long-wheelbase. If Rivian R1S had the same long-wheelbase I would Choose Rivian because of the drive modes with the same everything the Land Rover has in the seating arrangement I wonder if you had money to take your Land Rover to Rivian and pay for them to convert it with the long-wheelbase, longest battery, and quad motor system if they would do that for you then you are golden! As youtesting right now does the Rivian R1T have the same wheelbase? Yes you have it Golden because you're halfway to getting your dream the long wheelbase is the key to handling for landing it be different if you want to do rock crawling then go to the short wheelbase. I was just playing with it in the snow. It's not the perfect truck (a lot of flaws and service tickets) but it is different, and for sure the best truck/car I have ever driven
@@ioanw972 I have an R1S. The first time i played with it in the snow, i promptly got stuck in the snow and started sliding down a hill. I have the 22" tires. What are you running on yours?

Absolutely, I just had them reinstalled for the season. I believe it’s the best you can do for the stock 22’s
