I'd still love to see a cut by cut video on how you do these cardinals with the off-cut pieces of wood. I have the same off-cuts after doing my bears and gnomes and would love to make these cardinals.

Really looks awsome man. I really liked your wolf with nomes trying to lasho wolf down I saw too. That was sweet. I gonna carve one for my front yard. I been carving for 7 years now. Really wish I could do for a full time job. What air brush and paints are u using ? I got airbrush from harbor freight. Idk dont think works right. I hand paint all my carving that very time consuming to say the least. Lol. Your husky carving insane too. You got a lot talent and definitely see you put your time in carving to get will your at.👍👍 man

I sure like the way you do the cute bear faces! I've been trying and trying, it looks easy, but it's not. You have mastered it, keep on carving.

might work better cutting the halfs into half again wouldnt be as bulky
Once you use it it softens and isn’t bulk or super abrasive. In the beginning it may feel that way on a small project. Anything over a foot and it makes fast work. you’ll need the bulky otherwise you will replace it more often than a standard sandoflex would need. The wood wacker is 1” wide and they break and fly off. Thinner isn’t better just make sure to use the emery cloth

@@beargrovecarving3154 No worries at all. I’ve been attempting to carve for some time now.. few years minimum. Haven’t quite got it yet. I assume it’s something like math as a child. One day it just clicks and you got it
Yes I recommend starting with one subject like a bear and working your way to a decent shape then, but yes it seems to click one day and you’ll get it
