This is a custom AWD Ford Falcon conversion that I have designed and built. It is based on a 2010 year model Australian manufactured Ford G6E Turbo. These were supplied by Ford Australia with a 4.0 Litre "Barra" straight six cylinder engine, in turbo and non-turbo variants and a 6 speed automatic and all are rear wheel drive from factory. The custom AWD set-up necessitated replacing all the fro...
Most excellent
Will this be made for V8's. I'd love one for my XR8.
Do you still have this man
Its been 3 years. I really want to build a awd ute. If the kit ever gets released ill definitely be getting one
What ever happened to this brilliant idea paul
Magna was first.😅
Any updates on this?
Did you end up making kits
Any updates? Do you still own it?
Wow. That’s so cool. It’s as quick as a GTR R35. Can you also switch between RWD & AWD? Please let me know Thanks
Can it be done with a manual box?
The link for the brake upgrade doesn’t work unfortunately. Can anyone help me with finishing finding the brake upgrade?
Any updates?
Was the transfer case a bolt on for standard zf, or did you have to buy a 6hp26x or 6hp26z for that and adapt it to the barra?
I meet the fella on far left at 1.58 in ya vid and told me about ya car using bmw parts to make your car …. Awsum fella (from sa)
Would love to know how you went about the AWD conversion in more detail, and also why you decided not to utilise AWD territory parts as on face value it seems like a logical concept
Any updates on this build, blown away by how fast this thing is. Great work mate!
Any updates for a kit yet on the AWD system? I want one....
Are you still selling the brake kits ?
Update?
This is seriously impressive. Well done Paul!
You and Josh need to have a run, he's wagon is an absolute weapon.
Dude this is awesome. I was just chilling and wonder how mad an xr6T would be with a R8 V10 gearbox and Quattro AWD system. Punched it utube and here we are. Great minds....
Would do this in my FG ute..
need to see more of this are you going to summernats this year?
Thats awesome mate, im getting a set of the cro-molly brakes for the Mustang brake swap, know where any cheap mustang brakes are😁⁉️
Awesome. Does your mate have a build vlog of the wagon? I got three Terry's and a falcon ute. Would love to go AWD with the ute ay.
Paul! any new updates on this weapon? Hope all is well🍻🍻🍻
can you get awd kits now?

U can buy the AWD kit now, they are expensive but fuck, with it, not many cars will beat u off the line 😂
I understand if you don't want to share but I'd be curious what the AWD conversion cost. I've owned a G6ET for 8 years now. Great cars.
when you tick all the boxes in forza
hey mate is the transfer case from another car or a custom piece thanks
I would like this AWD system on my FGX XR8 Manual. Can we do something to make this happen?
AWD is something that Ford should have offered from factory with B and F series, given that they already had the development done for the Territory. They definitely thought about it in the late 80's, but unfortunately it never eventuated. A shame really, as we could've had AWD XR6 Turbos burying just about everything way back in the 90's
Seriously how much would it cost to go AWD on a fg falcon mk2??
Also with this conversion are you able to disengage the front wheels and still send all the power to the rear for burnouts and drifting??
Hmm.. when you release these for the B series (which I'm literally praying you do and will sell my kidneys for) Would you ha able to modify the K frame to accept the FG's rear sump as opposed to the B series front sump?? Or could you bolt up all the modified FG parts into the B series body? Which would also utilise the rear sump.
Cheers from the US. Would you mind sharing what rear end, front diff and transfer case you used for your set up ?
Who needs a Tesla model S when you can have a Aussie made Falcon. 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺.
I wanna have a guess at how you did this. my best guess from the videos is the transfer case is from a bmw x3 because it uses the same ZF slush box, and the front diff from the x3 or gtr. for the knuckles because you've used the mustang brake kit its probably more likely from an r33-34 than the x3 or even a territory. and if thats right you probably uses the gtr driveshafts and axles which is why it looks like you wheelbase might've changed a tad? would love a reply to see how close i am
Did you modify the awd sump/diff to fit the barra? or weld the axle and diff assembly into the barra pan? really curious which way you went about it
