My great-grandfather, Patrick Cregg was born there. It was where our family left Ireland forever during the famine, spreading into Middlewich, England and then over to "New England" (Massachusetts )in the United States. I hope to go there one day and maybe even repatriate and retire.

My father came from here and moved to manchester, he brought us "home" as he would call it every school holiday and i had the most amazing times over there e.g pig races a highlight for me as a kid i am now 30 years old and lost my father unexpected in april and i am stuggling without him but my memories of this town with him will last forever.
