Hi, no a luthier did it. Yes it required new pots and I wanted a 3 switch instead of the old 5. But you can keep the old switch if you like. Lundgren sold the pots as well.

@@artneue Hi! Why did they require new pots? is it recommended by Lundgren?

@@Ariocarpus2000 I don't really remeber why, but yes it was recommended by Lundgren. I guess you could use the original pots. But i think the mikes was made to be used with those pots.

I had to send an email to Lundgren to confirm I got the right one. There are some differences. But the one I got fit right away. 👍

Hi! If you live in Europe, Thomann has 7-string (or 8-string) sets you can buy. Svarez now has a Yamndu Costa signature set as well. @@artneue i will call thoman today bc i never bought smth from them and idk where the strings are. i cant find them in the shop. which strings would you recomend ( i am in europe) the thoman set, or the other one? (I like a clearer less melow tone but not super bright or anything) smth like the strings in your other video :) which ones are those? and can i get them in germany? and yea the iphone microphone video convinced me. maybe ill let a luthier look over it (if it doesnt cost too much). do you know if guitarshops can do stuff like build an integrated pieco into it or smth? or how much that would cost? thx for the quick response.

@@scipug3048 I can't remember what strings I have on the guitar unfortunately. I ordered Labella 7SG Classical strings, but I think I kept the 7th string and changed string 1-6 to some Savarez high tension strings when the guitar repairer set the guitar up . Yes it's a bit tricky to find strings unfortunately... Thank you James. Yes these are absolutely wonderful for jazz and cleaner sounds and as Les Paul first played them!

The Les Paul started life as a jazz guitar. Go listen to the Chico Hamilton Quintet with Jim Hall. Jim was playing a Les Paul at the time.

If you want to try 7 string classical guitar i think this is one of the best to start with. No pickup though and I had to have the nut be cut a bit better. I bought a twice as expensive Rozini 7 string and it much worse than this one.

Hi, with a 09 or 08 it’s okey. But I don’t bend that much. I would say a 9 feels like a 10 on a fender in tension. The longer scale length might be something that will feels a bit different. But I like it.

They are fantastic for the money if you find one. Mine has just gotten better over the years. Listen also to Willie Watson who also plays one a lot.

Thanks! Don’t have the time right now unfortunately. This is a prototype for the Singularity model that is now being produced so it might not help anyway. But I have tried the Fishmans on the new Strandberg 8s and they sound quite different. The M8 has a more even sound to me. The Fishmans cleans sounds thinner. But lot of people like them. They also has more variety with a lot of switches. But to me the M8 has more quality to its sound. They catch the guitar and the touch of the strings a bit better. Good luck 👍

worth mentioning is that I had it set up by a luthier. The strings were a bit high when it arrived.

Hi Roberto, thank you. Very price worthy guitar. I bought a Rozini 7 string classical guitar as well, almost twice the price but not as good build quality. I'm planning selling the Rozini but I will keep this one.

The nut should be lower so playing without a capo is a bit tough but I would say decent. If you have a capo on the 1st fret it’s pretty easy to play so it certainly has potential. But there is no truss rod though.

I had a guitar builder lower the string hight. Made it easier to play without a capo.
