Lovely thing about a forward head throw is.. It can be done with a hand, elbow or a leg. Just remember to not bend over when doing the arm bar at the end. The person can kick up and hit you in the face.

I understand this is a Djuru, as I'm Pentjak Silat also, but wouldn't bending your wrist down during that elbow be a liability. If your elbow is jammed by the opponent, it could spring/break your wrist. My Guru hates seeing that being done.

I see a lot of similarities to my Silat style Djuru 1 in here and a lot of differences too.

I saw old videos of you in which you engage in violent, unplanned sparring with a stick (such as boxing). If you repeat this same experience with these knife-blocking techniques, and with one party being unarmed, it will be impressive.

First glance I had at this I was driving actually.....The last series with the second angle .....Feed ..... Counter. With 1 , then 2 , then 3 .... Of all the drills we practiced.... I got down on the Cinco Terms 5 cardinal blows ....hit for counter for hit....I finally started teaching it to a friend.....I do plan on teaching the links/counters with sumbrda, punyo, hubud next..... obviously I was taught Silat/Kali/Wing Chun cycles and have blended those .....I watched yours and can't wait to train it.....Bahala Na my friend......thanks for the clips !!!

The great thing about watching Guro Ted demonstrate Serrada is ....he was a blender. This is actually quite a priceless clip you have posted. If I am remembering correctly.....Lucky Lucay Lucay Ted's father was a verrrry long time training partner of both Master Floro Villabraile and Master Angel Cabales.... who both were verrrry long time students of Felisimo Dizon......To actually see a REAL demonstration of this lineage on YT is like I said .....A priceless gift. Dizon taught Villabraile and Cabales his Cabaroo Serrada....In the 20 years I knew my Guro whom was taught by Guro Dan and those who taught Guro Dan......He only mentioned this Dizon Cabaroo Serrada one time in a lesson where he taught me an underhand Villabraile 6 count with a series of Villabraile double stick counters. The first part of this video is that full set of counters.....Can you please tell me which video volume of Guro Ted's this clip belongs to?
