I've been told that the plan is to essentially follow Ireland, and have readings from the Revised New Jerusalem Bible (2019) in conjunction with the "Abbey Psalm and Canticles" (2018). The latter can be purchased for the Kindle viewer from Amazon; it also include the canticles used for "responsorial psalms". I'm glad this has been of use: there are some real gems to be found in the LOH that are virtually unknown to a wider audience. I intend to eventually have the entire LOH on here, though there will be an occasional change in the suggested tune when it can only be found in a now obscure hymnal that I don't have access to.

What about some of the other McAuley/Connolly hymns? 'Jesus, in Your Heart We Find' is a fantastic hymn for the Sacred Heart of Jesus. There's a version on UA-cam by Prima Luca that is particularly beautiful.

LLANFAIR is best known with the Ascension hymn "Hail the Day That Sees Him Rise" and the Easter Hymn "Christ, the Lord, Is Risen Today", both by Charles Wesley. I agree that GWALCHMAI is an excellent tune, and if you wanted to use the text with CWB2 and give the congregation a melody to follow, it can be downloaded from OneLicense: www.onelicense.net/search?term=30136910. If they don't have a copy of the original Catholic Worship Book (hymn 671) or Gather Australia (hymn 366), instrumentalists can play from sheet music without the (copyrighted) words, as the tune is public domain. The hymn (with GWALCHMAI) is not available for individual purchase from the publisher, OCP.

Thanks for the comment. I love the challenging imagery of Sr Genevieve Glen, who is my favourite of contemporary Catholic poets. I thought it disappointing that a number of her texts were dropped (including this one) when the 3rd edition of Journeysongs was brought out.

This is a classic Australian hymn written in the early sixties by James McAuley and composed by Richard Connolly. A sung version from an old LP can be found starting at 8:01 on this UA-cam recording: ua-cam.com/video/1jMggVk9pDM/v-deo.html. I believe this recording was made under the direction of the composer.
