@@eddieesch8805 you can grow pretty much anything I grow. Email me if you want our available list t.flfarms@yahoo.com
I’ve never tried eating these before. What does it taste like?
They have a good flavor. They have that "spicy " flavor but it's not the heat. & the rest is a unique taste of their own
I’ve already planted the ones you sent me. Hope I’m able to grow them like you do so these delicious crop remain available here in the USA.
I hope they do well for you. I really enjoy them.
Please add some of these to your eBay for me. In particular PR 1 and CMC 40.
Check today I'll add a listing just for you
I just put up a quick listing. Let me know if you want or need anything
Thanks!
Thank you very much! #Tefoe
Do you still have any of this seed that you could send out? Dave
Hi. Yes, on ebay or T.flfarms@yahoo.com
The white sorghum I have grown in my garden is Texicoa, which is white seeded with black glumes growing to about four feet tall. The grain makes a grayish flour that is essentially tasteless. I don't love it, but could use it as a filler to stretch other flours. I do grow both corn and wheat in my garden as well. Wheat is easily the best tasting and most versatile, but takes a lot of work to process by hand. Corn takes the least work, but I don't use it as much and it has to be grown in the main season when I might prefer to use the space to grow something more tasty like melons, peppers, or tomatoes instead.
Hi, I’m watching this video for the second time now. Where can I find Sudanese White Sorghum seeds? Thanks, Barbara D
@@barbieremund9740 on my eBay or you can email me for a payment request through PayPal. T.flfarms@yahoo.com
Living here in Florida, it's only a question of "when", not "if" we get hit again by a damaging storm... you were right when you said that no matter how well you prepare it's a matter of "luck". Wishing you a speedy recovery and building things back stronger than before - and we are all inspired by your positive spirit despite adversity.
Have some on mine for the first time. They are still hard though.
The fruit I tasted were still firm but ripe and soft inside...
Mine fruit and handle the cold in Far north FL.
What varieties do you have? & shoot me an email on your plants, how everything is going
I planted two in central Louisiana this year. The electric company sprayed poison everywhere and damaged one. Not sure if they can handle the colder and colder temperature trend we`re seeing here. I`ve never seen it get down to zero degrees in my life until the last several years and we`re getting a lot of single digit temps too. I hope my new fig trees can survive this winter. I`m gonna try to save them with warm lights under tarps if we see more Arctic temperatures.
One of the main reasons I planted them is because they can take the cold fairly well, supposedly. Even though we are now zone 10 with the changes our winters have been trending for the colder over the past 10 years.
@@Tefoe I`m hearing some very scary things from some very smart people about a "mini ice age" caused by the sun and the weakening magnetic field of the earth over the next 30 years. They say it will become obvious before 2035. I guess we`ll find out soon enough.
Glad you're ok, sent an email.
Do you have cutting? Thanks
Yes. T.flfarms@yahoo.com
How much do you sell for? Thanks
Hi, do you have Etsy?
Hi. I'm not listing much on the auction sites much at the moment. But we are going through PayPal. T.flfarms@yahoo.com
*Best video intro- "Guys this is extremely dangerous don't do this" I must give a like and comment.* 😆
Glad you made it.
I just grabbed a ego chainsaw myself! Good luck on the clean up
Glad you made it.
Do you have some Nodes right now?
Yes, T.flfarms@yahoo.com
My thoughts and prayers! Stay safe! Blessings to you and family!
Stay safe out there 🙏
Early-blooming varieties are desired - especially further up north where frosts come and then kill all these plants... the earlier they bloom, the more of a harvest that you can get! We've got a white variety that looks a lot like yours and it's blooming and producing fruits right now and growing like crazy... we tasted some jelly from it with a touch of lime and it was absolutely delicious!
Your niece said if it doesn't sell she'll gladly crack it open to see what dinosaur is in it 😂
@@SarahCollins-o7n yes! We'll throw a party.
Its we call roselle...we made syrup...😋..mix with icecream soda n ice soo resfreshing drink...
Yes it's very delicious 😋
Do you have an email? May be interested purchasing for next month
I don't have the huge corms but I do have smaller ones. T.flfarms@yahoo.com
I have had access to these private ponds for years in cow pastors. Been going out since I was little. I've seen melons in the field always. Just recently grabbed 2 to see what they were. Turns out they are this white melon. Cooling melon I've seen. No telling how long they have been there. Definitely going to get some seeds now they I know. Thanks brother. These melons have always done so good out there too with absolutely zero upkeep. I almost thought they were just wild.
I'll try and post a picture as soon as I cut the other. These are wayyyy over ripened idk that the seeds will be any good.
Sizzle Sizzle!
Holy crap, pls sell some so I can grow it, Utsav out of stock everywhere and here you are..

Mine are growing in Las Vegas are handling 118 degree heat & 4 months of steady temps over 103 wow
Picked too soon?
I have a couple more ripening up. I'm gonna if they get more soft & sweet
We were flooed when I was filming this. There were huge swarms of knats liking the fruit, too. Right in the middle there I got a mouthful of bugs in my pineapple guava hole.. I was in a hurry to get inside.
I checked today (2024-09-30) and one of our white fruit varieties are blooming up here in the Northwest tip of the Florida panhandle also...
Do you have seeds left?
@@timhanlon3138 yes, info in description for you.
those yellow flowers are quite beautiful!
They are!
we've got some white fruit varieties also and I think I saw one of them starting to fruit and then some of the other ones we haven't seen fruiting yet (but will check again soon)
I see a light-colored blister beetle on one of those leaves! can you identify that one? we're much further north than you and we never see any bugs eating these plants... but we'd like to know what does eat them...
These have more of a fruity flavor without the sourness that the red varieties have. Though they are obviously missing in the Nutrient department compared to the red.
I grew 30 plants . They were 13 feet tall. I got 5 pounds of sorghum seeds. It attracted a lot of bees. Next year I will plant 100 . It is my forever crop. Thank you so much
Anybody here from Australia!
It actually tasted pretty good. The touch of starchiness was a surprise. When we were kids we used to smear them all over each other. But today if you get a little handful of them you can run them through a strainer and have a nice purple food color to add to your drinks or lemonade.
I wonder if it would be good in a pie?
Banana splits for everyone to comment!.... (must make yourself)
Comment if you watched my new short on these babies!
just imagine a privacy wall of these cactuses around your home, blooming so beautifully!
I need to start back making it again.

No one: Not a single soul: This dude: KOMBUUUCHAAAA
Yeah!! Kombucha!
I’ve h heard a lot about kombucha, but it always seems to be caffeinated. I was diagnosed with migraines years ago, since I quit consuming caffeine they have gone away. Do you think the starter would work in decaf tea, or herbal tea?
The mother that works in the tea actually eats caffeine so it's possible that you could try it and see if it affects you. Otherwise I don't know if you can use decaf because the starter does eat it.
@@Tefoe I’m not anxious to spew all over myself like a drunk teenager. I’ll just keep avoiding it. Then again if the mother eats the caffeine, then there should be less caffeine in it than regular tea. Maybe the next time I take are time off work, and can have time to hide in a darkened, room I’ll try some.
