The video will be out in about a month but I’m going to do a full video on how I manage everything and I’m partnered with a very cool company that actually helps freelancers set rates and organize projects, they’ve been really useful and I’ll talk about them in that video too!

Currently We are still in the process of fixing on one niche because our past clientele has been across very different industries, but we need to niche down to 2 or 3 areas. I find a lot of my clients through word of mouth and at the gym. A big part of growing the youtube, social media, and building a website is allowing different types of clients who don't live locally to be able to find me.

@@harmonyhava your resume can be 2 pages, mine is usually one page because hiring managers only spend a minute or two looking over each applicant. If you want to apply for app design roles the thing that is a lot more important is getting a portfolio on either a pdf or making your own website that has between 3-6 projects on it. Hope that helps! :)

@@jdrewsdraws what tools you use and how you use them (e.g. what do you look for when deciding). You said Canvas, but how do you go about using it, what tabs did you click, what did you look for. Or the color pallet generator, you didn't say the name of it. In an age where everyone want's to be an "indi hacker" making mini apps, knowing how to do a fast but functional logos can be very useful

@@antoinelebaux3918 this is actually so helpful for me to know how much detail want me to go in, I try to keep it shorter because I’m not sure if people are more interested in branding or the user problem side of it but I can absolutely make a video on how to design logos quickly and how to use generators ☺️ For this video I used the shopify name generator, which is the best one I’ve used and it lets you put in prompts on what type of business you are- but I’d still recommend google searching the possible names you want to see if there are any other companies that already have that name because none of the generators I’ve found are able to tell me that. For designing them I used a combination of canva and Figma, many people use adobe illustrator or procreate to sketch out business names. Canva has lots of logos that you can use but if you actually want to create a business using one - you’ll have to change the logo enough to make it unique because the canva logos aren’t made for commercial use I hope this helps a bit!
