What helmet cover is that?
That’s an amazing idea and I definitely could see myself something like that, wonderful execution too, y’all though of everything
@Lemon-cream-pie thank you, really appreciate it!
Bag looks like it’s low quality from china.
@robertyeh it's Berry Compliant meaning it's made in the USA of made in the USA materials. Everything we make is Berry Compliant and we're big believers in American manufacturing.
How does it interface with Ops Core counterweight?

Great looking bit of kit. Does the Mini get hot when running inside this bag?
@simonrobinson8680 thank you! We ran it a ton in testing and didn't run into heat issues. It's something we did think about and I'm sure in ultra hot temps it's possible, but nothing we could achieve in testing even in hot weather/direct sunlight. We also made the impact plate and foam removable, which will trap less heat when the Starlink is in a stationary position.
Where’d you get the patch
@@Tate-sf7ec Black Canyon Systems made the Clint Eastwood patch
Nice flashlights with helmet attached to it 😂🤦♂️
Adapt your setup to meet your needs. This is just one setup, it's probably not for everyone and that's fine. Thanks for your comment and for watching.
@forge_concepts your right. Of course. Just made a joke. Love ur vids🫡
@@lukasBe77 hoooahhhhh <3
Hey love the vid. Literally came at the perfect time as I'm researching it. Could you tell me what your average speed was for each? And what the speed difference was? You said the mini got 60-70% of the speed of the standard or that 60-70% less of the speed of the standard? Thanks.
So speed varies quite a bit based on time of day, location, and service plan you're using. It's usually a baseline of 100 Mbps down and 20 Mbps up, but can vary quite a bit. What we are saying is that if you run the two in the same location at the same time (so like conditions) the Starlink Mini will do about 60-70% of the speed (so 30-40% slower). That said, I've never not been able to stream 4k video on the Mini so that slower speed is completely not an issue for all the ways we've used it.
@forge_concepts Dope! I appreciate the info.
@forge_concepts i just saw yall did a video on starlink mini ocp case/carrier. Oh man. I just found nice channel. I out in beautiful Iraq hence why I'm asking these things lol

@@hesherson thank you, we appreciate it!
look for a lvl 4 helmet 😬
@KingTiger10588 what NIJ certified level 4 helmets are there? I'm only tracking manufacturers saying they're level 4 rated.
Hmmm, numerous items protruding from the helmet are not snag hazards but an ear pro cable in the back of the helmet is?
@shinyhappyshibas1385 i mean if you don't want to run anything on your helmet that's fine. But comms are pretty important. Ripping of a flashlight isn't the end of the world, but breaking your comms setup in the field is a pretty serious capability loss. IMO you should reduce what you can.
This guy is so top secret they can’t show his face…ever

Are you right or left handed? I have the same light set up as you but curious why your Vampire light on the left
Righty, so I like to manipulate the light with my non dominant hand so I can maintain control of my weapon.
Fantastic idea executed brilliantly. Great stuff as always brother 🤘🏼
We're pretty stoked about this one!
Are the ODG helmet covers discontinued? I've been watching that site for some time now and they're never available
We talked to ODG recently and they said they were aiming for April. Hopefully it happens, still think it's the best cover out there.
Thank you
@davidkim9898 thank you for watching!
I have the old gen AMP adapters and they're a great alternative to what I was doing before- destroying the peltor arms and taping...I'm looking forward to picking up another set when they're back in stock. Also, the breacher's tape is a great move, although it has become somewhat trendy I do think it makes total sense. Great video!
Yea, I think a lot of guys do it for the look, which is goofy. If you aren't doing breaching, take it off. Tape adhesive dries out anyway so I wouldn't want some old ass tape on there. Appreciate the comment & support by the way!
Have you tried gaffers tape for the top instead of duct tape? Holds just as good and it’s more dull in color not shiny. Great video! Subbed !
Gaffers tape does work well. I'm just partial to Gorilla tape. I feel like the performance of it is hard to beat. And thank you, appreciate the support. We have quite a bit of content coming this year!
4:20 (nice) you can push the ball detent looking thing on the AMP arms. Basically the adjustment. If you push it all the way back it will give you cooling and still be able to hear comms.
@markfarkas3287 good pro tip. Have you found a change in the positive pressure when doing this and then any impact to the creaking noise they always seem to make?
@forge_concepts it doesn't really bother me. I use amp arms but not amps. The creaking noise can be eliminated with a little tape tho
@@markfarkas3287 thanks for the feedback!
You should as some grippy elastic so it gets grip and doesn’t fall
@AirsoftTactical negative ghost rider. The grip makes them bunch up on pants, which sucks after prolonged use. Trust me, we tried every combo out there when we designed these. What you actually want is to mount low (hence the grommet) and then adjust tension so it's comfortable. It will not fall down.
Fuck yea
@@karate518 🖤
I think the Ops-Core XR is the best helmet because for just a few dollars more you somewhat get rifle protections vs the SF is only rated to stop a high speed 9mm.

@@CJTF-FU glad you found it useful!
Now this is podracing
Hahah
That map keeper under the chest plate is a bad ass idea! Maybe yall could come up with an idea that uses elastic material and attaches via velcro under the cummerbund and Molly on the front side of the plate carrier. Then either side can kinda set the tension preferable to the user!
Would you still prefer the Equinox Cummerbund over shaw concepts v2?
@@xNulg yes, I dont see a real need for that many molle rows and the thin rigid structure of the Equinox is awesome for load carriage. Shaw makes great stuff, but I still think the Equinox is best in class
No idea where this was filmed but that’s some major JBLM vibes.
@Mike-ol3ml Ft Bragg actually!
Would you recommend the GBRS belt? Lot of mixed opinions on it. Thanks
@weekendwarrior8334 yes. We recorded a full gun belt breakdown video and will have it up sometime early in the new year, where we discuss all of this stuff. The v2 belt has been superb. Zero complaints and it's been actually used for work extensively. Our Utility Hook also works amazingly with it so that's cool too. Hit us up if you have any other questions.
@ Hey thank you! Definitely plan on picking one of those hooks up from you guys.
@@weekendwarrior8334 right on, thanks brother!
Hey buddy, which light would you pick to mark a building? Green - safe/clear, Blue - injured civilian (taken care of), Yellow - important objective (weapon, clue, etc.), Red - suspect/weapon.. I am trying to figure out which colours to pick for 1st aid or CQB.
@@JettLazarus we can't get into any TTPs on how to use chems. It's going to depend on the situation, unit, etc. Just make sure you're on the same page with the people you're with.

Just received my hook today and really appreciated the handwritten note on the receipt!
We appreciate every one of you who orders from us!
Sir, I see the video is about a year old so I’m late to the party but that tourniquet on the right side of the PC, with the white tab, looks to be a fake TQ. The left side looks real. Just get that checked if you’re still running it. I’d need a closer look to see if it’s real or not or just an older gen CAT, but still - check that out. Be safe.
Appreciate the note! It was an older gen cat. We keep some of those on hand for training ones, but not for actual use. Thank you again sir!
Can the rifle retention be trimmed down for pistol or will it ruin stitching?
It will damage the stitching. Would it probably still hold together - yes, but we strongly advise against this and recommend just ordering the appropriate pistol size!
Damn that pouch that goes behind the placard is legit. I could fit my fruit snacks and crayons in there.
I recently purchased and use this system, and I would recommend greatly.
Thank you so much, genuinely appreciate the support!

@@forge_concepts It shows. Keep doing what youre doing :)
$12 per bungee retention?
They're $10.95 or $11.95 depending on size and that's for the Bungee Retention Adapter and our pull tab. These are less expensive than our V1s. If you've been following us for the last couple of years you'll know we're just about the only company in this space that haven't raised prices and this is actually the second solution that we've reduced price now that we're finding economies of scale as we grow.
