All of The Outlying Fells Of Lakeland Videos can be followed with Alfred Wainwright's Pictorial Guides, and can be downloaded with The Outdooractive App. Most are the same as in the guide and some are revised due to access or simply easier to reach by connecting multiple tops in a single day. I have discovered that some of the Outlying Fells are way tougher than the bigger 214 Wainwright's. Mainly due to the absence of tails, boggy areas, fighting through high bracken and the absence of clear markers for some of the summits. You will discover new areas of pure beauty, a journey well worth the effort of donning your boots and ruck sack with map in hand to discover places you never thought existed. Like me you will probably think that AW is laughing, when you say "Why on earth did he include this fell?" But there are none not worth doing.
