Going by what you say, you should be able to do it in around 15 minutes with just a few weeks of practice. The disney classics collection is not allowed as a matter of fact. King Tayyab I checked the site and in the forums ot states that the classic collection is ok as long as I don’t use rewind and such. Has this changed?

You need to do vertical jump AS SOON AS simba is done shaking his head after the fall, and you need to have the right directional button pressed throughout the jump. It's all about the timing, since the inputs are relatively simple.

technology4617 try to follow a better path through the trees at the end of the level, before the hyena fight. The path followed by the TAS, and the path followed by myself, are both faster than yours

the time was good enough for me to get permbanned from eight's chat Kappa I'll give it a try-- I had some difficulty getting Simba to top speed with your method, which is why I (poorly) attempted to replicate the TAS method.

@@crisis5a89 it was a good run, though. I used to play this game a lot and always got stuck on the Hakuna Matata waterfall section. I just couldn't figure out the patterns as a kid and always dropped into the water or land on a log below. Managed to beat this game quite a few times, though. Maybe I'll try this speedrun and give you the competition you asked for at the beginning lol.

@@insomnimatics Do try this speedrun please, the lion king speedrunning community is quite small. That comment at the beginning about competition was not directed at the community in general. It was only directed towards the person who's behind me in second place, because him and I don't really see eye to eye
