The reason is in genocide you become strong enough to draw blood and kill people from all the strength gained from killing monsters

Minor inaccuracy:Mondo Mole is actually very resistant to PK freeze so that should only do around 10 HP of damage

huh... i find it kinda nonsensical that it's treated as normal like when you spare him as opposed to the genocide route.
Rhe game does say during obligaration that you become powerfull enough to draw blood. So it makes sense beating up enemies before that whould not do much

@@Sanker1 yes, but remember this s the earthbound world and nes also gets EXP without killing (at leats i presume nes does not murder all the human enemies in earthbound)
@@Sanker1 the game behaves weird, if you win via violent outcome and the enemy doesnt die, you gain minimal EXP and you can increase your LOVE, take this path as the Deltarune Neutral Roure, where enemies run away if you're violent. It kinda makes sense since LOVE doesnt directly need to kill people to win EXP, but it's weird you can have higher LOVE without killing.

this is literally just what i did in my run, he doesn't actually die and plus it's a fun challenge also what happens if you kill coilsnake in pacifist?
Although in fact this would be fine for a variation of the genocide route as for example noelle and susie reveal themselves but flowey comes to support the player But I prefer the pacifist route
