I have the second gen self propelled (yours is 3rd gen). 7 out of my 8 DCB210 batteries (10AH XR) are bad… two of them were bad fresh out of the factory box. My warranty replacements have been on backorder for months. Heck, they first told me they were shipping in June (now mid-August). In the mean time I bought two 9AH FlexVolt batteries, a second 8AH XR, and two 5AH PowerStacks so I could mow. With those, I got the lawn mowed exactly once before my mower stopped working with any batteries. It’s been an absolute nightmare and I didn’t even mention my issues with getting a replacement blade earlier this year. DeWALT has put a stop-sale on the new 3rd gen XR mower so it’s completely gone from store shelves now despite being brand new. All existing XR batteries (not just the mower bundles) are being rebadged without XR so that they can be replaced with 8AH PowerPack XR, 5AH PowerStack XR, and the standard (1.7AH) PowerStack XR… so 10AH XR batteries have disappeared from stores and all listings now show it without XR badging. I don’t know how they can sell a 3rd gen XR mower without XR or FlexVolt batteries, so let’s see what they bundle once they return. Meanwhile, my dead 2nd gen mower runs about 5 seconds and stops even with zero load. That means I won’t be able to mow even when I finally get my backordered DCB210 warranty replacements. Neither the batteries nor the first two mower generations ever deserved the XR badging.

The great thing about being me at the moment is I'm the only one it seems to post a review. So I have the best review. Soooooo I win. On a Serious note though, I can honestly say I've never had the luxury of buying a new brand new mower nor one that came with the option of bagging, so like.... yea I have never assembled one before nor used these features. Good news is I at least figured out to snap the bag into the frame lol
Still on fence but my diesel kabota ride on is 30 years old and I can’t weld on the paper thin deck anymore. I need to get some exercise so I’ll do the self propelled. I am already on Dewalt platform so this maybe my only real option. Still waiting for the glut of toys to start hitting the market from purchases people can’t afford so this might fit the build until I buy someone’s market place 1/4 price ride on. Thanks for sharing
DeWalt tools are like old underware, black in the back and yellow in the front. DeWalt is garbage.

Sorry to hear that, I only found it on accident, I don't have HD within a hour drive of me, I happened to be near one on a weekend trip and dragged the wife to it lol.
A lot of people in there right mind would buy a walk behind. If your yard is small you don’t need a propelled mower my friend.
For a hundred dollar difference though? A hundred bucks is (sad to say) nothing these days. Especially considering most people probably won't buy another mower for a decade or so, the 100$ is a trivial increase
Biggest issue for me is they don't have a "bare tool" option on lawn mowers.
Some of us have a charger for about half of our dewalt tools don't need 2 more or or 20 lb batteries
Not sure of your region but in the UK there's several places selling bare tool
You did not fully assemble your grass bag. You need to set the rest of the clips going around the open end of the bag to the frame.
yea I figured that out like halfway through the review, well actually my neighbor pointed it out to me. I can honestly say I've never had the luxury of buying a new lawnmower before, so I've only ever touched one that was already assembled. Big egg on face moment, but it's not like the internet is forever or anything....
How to find one with 12ah locally, only 10ah
No idea. I've seen zero marketing, zero notification. Literally found it on accident when I was on a weekend getaway trip.
