Collecting Coconuts

5 big sacks of coconuts are enough for just a week so its a saturday tradition to go collect coconuts to bring home! The coconuts are mainly used for cooking and to feed the pigs and most esp for raw fish 😂 IYKYK! Quick day with the boys! In derrrrr

What an everyday afternoon looks like! Feed the pigs and straight to fishing. Nothing exciting except the fish biting 😂 This type of fishing is called 'FUTIFUTI'.

Every Christmas holidays, esp early hours of xmas morning, everybody walks around the village singing tokelau songs, xmas carols and any song you can vibe to starting from as early as 1am and then breaking off before sunrise to get ready for cricket. When it comes to the ferry/Cargo boat, all the men & boys of the village come together to share the workload and make things easier for everybody! INATI - A distribution process of large quantities of food for the entire village, a Tokelau tradition that makes sure everyone is fed! A distribution process that was mostly done with fish but in todays case its chicken and rice! Everybody gets a fair share and nobody misses out 🩷 Dont own rights to the music✨

This was a full on day! Took the boys to get coconuts, they caught a few coconut crabs which was cool then we checked out a few fishing spots on the way home! Need more days like this 💯 Dont own rights to the music ✨

Was only meant to go for a cruise to our family islet and back but we ended up taking a detour around to the other village! Had to put music over the video so you dont hear the motor hit the reef 😬👀 Indeeeeerrrr Dont own rights to the music ✨

Last minute plan to go netting didnt work out so we decided to go get coconut branches to make a broom 😂 Seen some of the boys out and about so we stopped by for a few laughs! Hopefully Day 2 is a better day 🇹🇰 Im out here for the laughs! Lelo 😂 Dont own rights to the music ✨
