The Guyana National Bureau of Standards is a semi-autonomous agency established in 1985 and formed under the standards act of 1984. It has the legal status of a statutory corporation governed by a National Standards Council. The Bureau offers services including: Standards Development, Certification, Calibration & Testing, Verification, Product Inspection and Training and Consultancy.
The 'Guyana National Bureau of Standards' Channel provides updates and information about the tenets of the bureau, our activities, standards, the National Quality Infrastructure and the International System of Measurement (S.I. or the Metric System).
