Not gonna lie, I can't get over the fact that, instead of letting Man Ray or the Flying Dutchman be the final boss, it's some random dog fish monster that had no relevance to the plot or Spongebob.

The thing is a lot of the stuff is more explained in the ps1 version as well as the levels just look nicer and on theme.

21:23 I actually enjoyed that episode. Not as bad as a lot of people think it is.

Played the hell out of this game in my younger years, honestly really enjoyed it especially the music.

One of my first video games was a 2 in 1 cart of this and another SpongeBob game. I was 6 at the time and the other 2 games I got at the same time were a Dora the Explorer game and Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Red Rescue Team(which my parents immediately made me give to my older sister)

A lot of this game is actually based on beta version of the PS1 release as opposed to the final release, which is a big part of why it feels and looks so odd, but the team struggled to even finish the ps1 version so it doesn't actually feel that much more coherent. It makes references in-game to doing things they never actually managed to code in (such as fighting one boss as sandy when spongebob is the only playable character) and a lot of the enemy designs are still kind of odd.

Had this growing up. Such a wildly cookie-cutter title looking back given it's a port from the PS2 game.

The way I go with Wonder Pick is that when I'm only missing a few cards from a set, I stop opening packs from that set and try to get the rest of the cards from Wonder Pick. So right now I'm missing 1 Aerodactyl, 1 Articuno EX, 1 Grimer and 1 Muk from the Mewtwo set, so now I'm looking for those cards on Wonder Pick while opening packs from the Pikachu set.
