Baby bird says thank you and seems to understand human smacking
I found this baby bird after a terrible wind storm hit our area and must have blown the nest away. Two additional hatchlings were found deceased but this little guy is just a fighter! In this video he seems to give a little thank you twice after I fed him various insects. He also seemed to understand when I smacked my lips to nom nom nom the food in his mouth. Perhaps I’m reading too much into it but that’s my right to do so🥰
