Im in a ww2 british spitfire against figter jets. im spending most of my game just trying to stay out of sight, and i feel like a right plonker am i doing something wrong? if you buy a premium aircraft do you still have to research it before you can use it or is it immediately usable?

There's about a decade of these videos. Quick search or two should give you a few weeks worth to watch. This is nothing new. Not condoning but been around long enough these videos crop up like seasons changing. Gaijin will not change. Period. Get that through your heads. If you had hope I hate to quash it but there it is. Only thing that makes Gaijin pause is when the player base threatens to abandon ship enmass. That's it. Absolutely nothing but the frequency of wallets opening gets Gaijin's attention. Their primary business model revolves around frustration and money to solve it. If this drives you up a wall I deeply recommend finding some other way to get your vehicle combat fix. The F-15I shouldn't have been added and I agree that the F-15E shouldn't get its 229 engines yet. The 229 engines make the F15 too strong for the game in its current meta. Maybe wait until other nations have aircraft of equivalent performance.

I have a couple of opinions: Gaijin will never change their ways. Because they are making money and the only reason people "Suffer" is because they don't seem to grasp that they don't want to spend abysmal amounts of money on the video game, But if you do... They improve the game... If they don't improve the game, That's why we Boycott. But it also comes at a risk. - So you Boycott Gaijin... In the end I think the issue is the Balancing and what the game entails. The Formula of small improvements here and there are nice... But Balancing and Variety is limited. - Wanting specific changes won't get them to change as you clearly see they will deliberately ignore your requests due to what they have planned and people are too hasty to judge. - People Expect way to much and gain so little, None of you WarThunder Players are going to be satisfied or find peace, Because there will always be a problem and instead you don't enjoy it. - Changes in a video game especially a live Service. Gaijin has put a lot of work and a new update is going to completely change how we play the game overall. This includes a new and improved physics Engine that you've been waiting for Years to do. - It's a free to play game, You can't expect or demand anything unless you choose to begin production to work for them... "People on the inside" can make those changes for the better, But at what cost? Most UA-camrs & Players, Just complain and complain. But do they actually have a physical impact? no... So it's arrogant that they will make changes to their game and if that's the case, Then just don't play... You can't just sit there and point out Forums they are ignoring, Because they don't care... This WarThunder Toxic Hate has been going on for 12 years. Lastly. Gaijin will never Change their ways. It goes like this. . . "One Man / Woman" Cannot change the game due to their personal preferences as small minded dilemma's won't make their company grow and this is why they don't listen to their fans/Players. Because they rather be Historically Accurate and personally challenge themselves to make changes base on Balancing. having Imbalance is one thing yes... They talk about balance, but adding a F15 with the best engines of all the others and pairing it with the best bvr missile at top tier is insane. If that thing goes high literally NO other fox3 can reach it. Literally all it has to do is go high launch and then notch, even if the missile maintains a lock the F15 is already going close to mach 2 and the missile will just bleed energy.

Still would rather give up engine performance for mavericks. For those who main the US, access to mavericks is expected but for those who play Israeli CAS, mavericks are non existent aside from the Netz which isn’t suitable for CAS. These missiles are useful against SPAA where flying into the stratosphere isn’t an option. With that being said, I do agree that they should have given the F15E the better engine.

And something that you are overlooking is that the pw220s are underperforming already. So add that plus the extraweight and you have a big fat pig. Ingame, if you compare the accelerations between the F15A and the F15C at altitude. The F15A wins by a large amount and hits a higher top speed. Inreality, its the inverse. The PW220s allowed the F15C to go higher and faster than its predecessor and it will do it quicker. On military power, ingame the F15C is able to sustain level flight at the altitude where the IRL F15C would do so WITH ONLY ONE ENGINE OPERATING! Go to wt issues page and search for " incorrect f15c top speed( read first part and comms)". Their reply, to my 4 reports, was that they don't "adjust" the envelope at the tropopause region( 9km -15km). Yet as you see in the reports, they fixed them for multiple planes lately but its somehow conveniently impossible for the F15C, specifically. Or go to the F15 thread on the forum

It's sad that they keep giving updates that aren't bad, but the gameplay development in itself is abysmal. If only they realized how much potential this game has as an early/mid-level proper sim, air/ground/sea battles would be bad ass and more people would join if they didn't hear the current player base hate on the current gameplay.

All I want is the engines America used first. It isn’t that overpowered, people have tested the F-15I and F-15C and in a dogfight it’s close but the F-15C has the edge in maneuverability because it’s lighter

Im hoping someone can help me, but I have started playing sim battles and starting yesterday my radar has been acting very weird, I’m in the F-20. It refuses to pick up targets I know are there, friendly and foe, and changing radar modes and settings does nothing to help. It seems to happen when I spawn into a game and use beyond visual range combat mode and then switch back to SRC PD. Before that, it works fine and picks up targets. I have tried using this video to trouble shoot and no luck. Also a side note, when the radar starts acting up, so does my RWR screaming I’m being tracked by question marks and AAA which I know is not even there due to me being not anywhere near bases or enemy defenses. For weeks, I have not had this problem it started yesterday, no videos or tutorials have helped I’m hoping someone can because it is ruining war thunder and the 70$ plane I bought.

my issue is going to be playing sim. im going to have to learn how to see enemies and shoot them, and how to land successfully with any plane
