DCS Mi-8 - Fortress Kutaisi mission with TAW

I haven't flown the murder bus for a while, so my flying is a bit sloppy. But overall it was a good mission and everything worked as intended. Also my mic wasn't set up for the recording, so none of my radio transmissions got recorded

DCS Ka-50 Trim and Autopilot Tutorial
everything is well explained and shown in action, kudos for the video I bought this helicopter 3 years ago and upgraded it to version 3 and I never flew with it because of the trim you showed and it doesn't work for me at all and that's why I gave it up. I like to fly like a gazelle or mi-8 helicopter without any unnecessary trims, this is a lot of complications 😏😉🤭🤣👍
دقيق ومختصر ومفيد شكرا جزيلا Accurate, concise and useful great tutorail Thank you very much
I am late but this is awesome, watched and read so much about it and this video just made it click!
your hind tutorials are basically the best out there! even 2 years after!
Holding the trim is something Ive forgotten when changing direction etc. Thanks for the reminder and a great tutorial!
Just found this video, very interesting but in a real situation the sam sites are normally obscured and not in open terrain like this.
Awesome job! You make it look so easy! It'd be cool if you could made a video tutorial on how to do those without ending in a big ball of fire xD
excellent video 👌👌🤗🤗
This is very usefull video for new HIND Pilots like me. But have a question: The exemple with the Humvee transmiting ....makes me thing... if its possible to set in mission editor a PLAYER (MI24) who will be my WING MAN in COOP .... he to transmit and Me to capture it and see on the big nidlle where is in every moment related to me. And viceverse.... my HIND to transmit a other frequency and he to capture me and see me on hes compass nuddle. (I need to know if its possible... because with low visibility of storm or fog or whatever will be usefull to be able to find us after some combat to regroup easy in formation! Thx
incredibly helpful tutorial! thanks so much!
💯💯💯👍👍👍👍
Great video, everything is very clear better than regular training in the game!
Hi bro, you have great videos, a lot of necessary information, please tell me can you show the control axis settings, roll/pitch, for the Mi-24 Hind ? P.s With respect from Russia!!!
You never use AI auto countermeasure? I try but it seems very limited angle. How come no one mension about AI auto Countermeasrue..
It's cool how SA-15s intercept Vikhrs now, I like the extra challange!
Great video, great music, my favourite DCS module
I dont comment or like but this was a perfect video straight to the point mostly and super informative on how to use each system offered sir you have my thanks
I watch this at least 3 times a week.
BS3?? 🥺
A joy to watch mate, thank you for the upload !
thanks dude
Today I learned the wiper on the Ka-50 actually works. Terrible animation on it though, it needs some subtle easing on the slow down/speed up to look less unnatural.
Good video. Better than most of the popular channels. Thanks
надеюсь у тебя все хорошо брат.
how in the name, of my neighbours ass, do you turn so nice? When i fly, it looks like a drunk 2 y.o, even though i trim all the time.
Great Video! Could be awesome if You make it instructing the technique to achieve the maneuvers. Do You think could be possible?
Great video and one of the more easy to follow tutorial on Ka-50 that I found on UA-cam. Just coming to DCS hely from Warbirds and I get the Kamov. Do You think it will be possible to You starting a series for the Ka-50 (waiting for the Black Shark 3 and/or possibly the Ka-52) like the one You already did for the Hind (my next Hely probably...)?
Really excellent presentation! I appreciate the description of the subsystems and their controls. Well done!
👌👍🤗😁🥰
Is it possible to fly any helicopter with only keyboard and mouse?
Possible, but very difficult. Having the cheapest joystick with a twist grip will be way better than keyboard and mouse setup
Super smooth flying. Great work. I need to get back into DCS and get back comfortable in the Hind before stepping into the apache.
You know Russian?
yes!
@@snugglefairy1-148 Next question- are you Russian?
So glad I stumbled onto your Hind tutorials. They have really helped me to enjoy flying the beast. You have a relaxed teaching syle that makes it easy to follow along. Thank you for the tutorials. New subscriber🙂.
Nice flying. Is my favorite aircraft in DCS for sure. Enjoy the capabilities of the KA50. Dealer of Destruction. Cheers!
Your videos are amazing! Keep up the good work!! Ура!!!
Which livery is that?
I'm part of the TAW DCS unit and it's one of our liveries. www.tawdcs.org
Concrete practical information. Thanks!
Excellent video, thanks for this!
excellent job simplifying the Ka-50 trimmer and giving examples of scenarios. Greatly appreciated.
Love flying SEAD in the KA-50 S300's, OSA's, Tunguska's and manpads. If you are looking down at the trees, you are too high :-) KA50 in manual mode can get vikhr kills at 8,8km
super
You got this down. 👍Saving all your videos for later review
Excellent video very well done.
You can notch with the body, but the blades should still contribute to the doppler effect. I've heard this can confuse radars, because the blades are essentially moving in every direction at the same time. You know if that's even a factor in DCS? Seems like AWACS has no issues picking up NOE choppers at long distance, but older SAM systems might still be affected.
Yes, helos are easy for doppler radars, but DCS and reality are not the same unfortunately. So notching works against Sa-8, also KUBs and BUKs, and i haven't tried anything else, but i imagine the S-300 will be a lot harder to defeat.
Hello, fist I find your tutorials very good explained. You are one of the best in explaining things in my onion. Only thing is the Russian text in the menu which is confusing for me to follow.
Yeah, sorry, my client is in Russian. In the video, i went into the Controls menu, then there's a ASO-2V menu in the drop down tab. That's where i went to bind the chaff/flare dispense button
This video is goddamn impossible to watch simply due to the NEVER ENDING beeping sound. How the frack do you put up with it while flying such a long sortie?! :P
Sorry, but if your ears aren't bleeding, you don't see double and your joins aren't in pain after flying Mi-24, then you haven't truly understood Russian military doctrine lol
@@snugglefairy1-148 pain is good, comrade snuggle
Try to figure out how to lift this thing up
The annoying sound of the RWR would drive me nuts!!🥴🥴
yep it was, but i needed to hear it, because we had hostile SAMs in the AO
