I went UNDERCOVER as a fanartist on tiktok for one week...
I edited this on vacation so the mic is TERRIBLE... my voice sounds very robotic in the recording because of my awful headphone mic, so im very sorry about that!! 😭😭😭
Anyways this video was inspired from @emowhofromwhoville video! This was so much fun honestly and I've wanted to post a video similar to this for a WHOLE YEAR.. I'm really glad I could get it out this month and I promise I'll try posting more (terrible procrastinator over here)... Also I ended up making my "pretending I’m a BEGINNER artist, then surprising them" private because it was copyrighted and I honestly hated the editing.. 💀💀

Hey! I'm new here but I love your art! You asked about the Genshin controversy, so I'll give you a quick rundown: Since the release of the new region, Natlan, people have noticed how most of the NPCs are brown-skinned but none of the playable characters are. The few brown characters they released (rly just one named Dehya, Mualani doesn't count cuz she's tanned) are "useless." Dehya's kit is terrible so she's one of the least played characters (I think). She's just a pretty face at this point. Genshin will release another character named Xilonen in 5.1, but most people believe they'll get the "Dehya treatment." It is strange how the Natlan playable character are all white when the Natlan people are based off the Mao'ri. Anyway- sry for the yapping. I'll keep watching ur vids! :D

Basically the drama is that people are upset that a nation based off of countries where the majority of the population is black, they have majorly white characters. (There's still a dark skin and a few tanned but yeah)
