In this video, we will be configuring the vcenter appliance backup.
Pre-requisites:
FTP will be required for this backup.
Below are the steps:
1. In a web browser, log in to the vCenter Server Management Interface (appliance-IP-address-or-FQDN:5480).
2. In the left navigation pane, click Backup.
3. In the Backup schedule pane, click Configure.
4. In the Create backup schedule dialog box, enter these values and click Create.
The backup schedule information appears in the Backup schedule pane
5. It will automatically take the backup on the configured schedule.
If you need to backup manually, then click on backup now and provide the ftp details if you need to save the backup on diff path, else you can select use ftp location and user name from backup schedule.
