46:27 did the Lord Jesus fail on the cross? Did Paul fail when he was tirelessly preaching the gospel while homeless and hungry? Godforbid. What The Lord did on that cross is valuable beyond words, and no regular human's testimony or ministry has ever or will ever come within a billion miles of Paul's ministry. Nevertheless they both suffered, died, and were despised and counted as fools by many. Who cares what any human being thinks of your life or whether or not they want what you have? Not one of them will give you a grain of sand in heaven, neither because of anyone's praise in this life shall an extra second be added to you in eternity. The Lord alone gives life and blessings. The Lord alone establishes your worth and value, not people. The only desirable valuable thing you could ever hope to have in this life, is a soul that has been washed by that precious blood of the Lamb. That is not something people can see and thus desire, only God can see it. No one should aim to live a life other people desire. That is vanity. If your soul has been washed and is now bearing good fruit by the Spirit, does the Spirit which bears the good fruit in you not testify that His fruit is good? Who cares then if people can see the good in you or want what you have? Rather be glad that you are washed, with your name written in heaven, and that the Lord is doing whatsoever he pleases in your life for by him shall you receive your reward. A life of peace and hope in a promise of eternal life comes only by faith on the Lord Jesus Christ and his life he sacrificed, therefore everyone's desire should be to the Lord, and not to his neighbor's life. May the Lord bless you and give you peace, and may he take away any burdens or thoughts of feeling like you could ever possibly fail or not have done enough, for truly his blood on that cross was all sufficient 🙏

Thank you for this teaching Dr. Shawn! For many of us, by no fault of our own, we are unable to attend our home churches. Travel, sickness, or because of remoteness, some are unable to sit on a pew within a church. I miss Virginia Creek Ministries terribly when I’m not able to be among those wonderful souls. However, I know that I can pull up any podcast on your channel and receive a blessing, knowledge, and guidance. You have a true servant’s heart, you’re following what Yeshua has led you to do. Please, never pay attention to the naysayers and hecklers in the comments. There’s a lot of narrow-minded, biased, and unloving people who will always critique you and others who bring forth the true meaning of Yeshua’s words, the true Hebrew/Aramaic meaning of what He spoke to His followers. You’re always going to be a lightning rod, but that’s because you’re doing anointed work, you're going to draw some attention. Why as humble followers of Yeshua, would we not want to know what our Lord and Savior truly meant when He spoke?

Dr Greener, You may believe you were helped by the ministry of Billy Graham. However you may want to research him further. His theology was way off, and so was his personal life. No financial scandals that is correct, but a deeper look will show that he didn't need to worry about money as he was in receipt of very large cheques sent to him regularly. I personally had a very negative encounter with him as a child, as did many others. My parents were friends of his family. I didn't understand my memories for years until I researched Graham and found out others have reported that he was a high ranking freemason and people testified of him being at Bohemian Grove engaging in activities too horrific to mention. He was loved and protected by evil politicians because he was in the same system. I beg you to pray it through, so that God can show you that BG was a wolf in sheep's clothing. I think the interview you are trying to remember was the Larry King show, where Graham said he even believed Muslims and others who had not heard the gospel would be in heaven! People who preach truth are not loved and accepted by the world, much less involved with the illuminati, as he was.

You really need to dig deeper as far as Billy Graham. Same with The Chosen, this is not just a TV series about Jesus and His disciples. There is a definite agenda, which Dallas Jenkins boldly states. He says God has told him that they will become the authentic portrayal of Jesus. There is nothing authentic about how Jesus is portrayed, our Lord did not need or ask for input from his disciples when He gave the Sermon on the Mount! Jenkins also admits that his goal is to portray the humanity, not the divinity, of Jesus. Jonathan Roamie, the actor who portrays Jesus, is a new age mystic in addition to a Roman Catholic. He believes in grave soaking, he speaks of laying on the grave of the man he portrayed in another Christian film--I believe the grave of Lonnie Frisbee? Not sure I have the man's first name correct. Roamie allows fans of The Chosen to call him Jesus when he is out in public. There is so much to be concerned about, it doesn't take a Religious Rottweiler to discern that The Chosen is dangerous, especially for new believers who cannot compare it to scripture. Just read what the fans write on The Chosen's Fan group page on Facebook. Again, I hope you will dig deeper!

How on earth are children - or anyone else - going to learn about Jesus by watching a show like The Chosen when its creator admitted it was 95% fiction? Please do explain, as I'd love to know. God's plan for salvation was not meant to be manipulated to make money out of entertainment.

John and I were truly blessed by today's sermon! Thank you for the lovely comment! I so wish I'd known of Topsail Topdressing 20 years ago when we moved on Folkstone Rd. We did it on our own, nothing but sand, rocks and roots here! We used the grass "fingers", I believe it's St. Augustine that my mother had in our yard in Wilmington and when she moved to Burgaw, she transplanted the same grass to her yard there. We just plugged those into the ground, watered, and prayed! It's not great but it's green (kinda)! Believe it or not, I have the offshoots of the same grass that was in the yard I grew up in all those years ago. That's heartwarming to me, I still have a tiny piece of my childhood home growing in our sandy, dry yard on Folkstone! You and your lovely Colleen have a beautiful home, what a majestic view! I think it better suits y'all with that fresh coastal breeze. Although, I believe we'd all been great neighbors and friends! I look forward to meeting you both. 🙏

Paul can be considered the precursor of the Roman Catholic church. The "church", the winning "doxy" over dozens and dozens of different orthodoxies of the first 100-200 years, turned their own beliefs into dogma designed to secure their power in the western world. It's also amazing to me how much of Jesus' teachings/beliefs/life Paul ignored in his writings. His writings seemed more tailored to get converts by hook or by crook, espousing his own beliefs and lies to make conversion more palatable to the Gentiles.

Chances are your cables and front brake line will be too short for BMX bars. What I ended up with was a new handlebar with some rise and large sweep back and maxing out the adjustment on the stock piece. I'm only 5'7 so my reach is much less than yours and this setup is pretty good now. A full riser was out of the question without the front brake line floating straight down and pulled tight so that was out. You might get some seat adjustment, every bit helps. You may consider a 180 degree unit, that will get you about 3 inches. 5 bulges and 3 herniations, 2 of each in my neck, so I know what you're dealing with. Leaning forward is out. I can't even shoot pool anymore.

Growing up, Reverend Graham was like family, we gathered around our B/W tv to watch him. We didn't know him personally but we knew his soul and he was absolutely beloved in my family. I can't think of a time when I didn't know him. I believe those words still rest within my soul to this day. I found his humbleness to be most endearing. The world needs that bold voice with his powerful message in simple words that I also recognized as a very young child and then leaned on throughout my life. Thank you for reminding us of his devotion and that we all have some gift or talent to share in order to show the love of Yeshua. Powerful message as always!✝

After each service that's filled with a profound and always personal sermon and divine, soul-touching music and singing, I drive a few feet to the lovely dock/pier area to read a chapter and say a prayer to put on my armor and go back into the world after spending such a precious period of time with a devoted, spirit-filled group of Yeshua-followers. I feel that I've found my home church and I'm thankful that you were led to direct me towards that special place. Ive had sure way and rock rooster. Sureway and not worth, rock roosyer are better . And ive bought cheaper returned items on amazon of wolverine, rocky boots, that are cheaper than the sureway and better quality.

Can you tell me a bit more about your phone mount? Who makes that; how does it work for you? Also very interested in your suspended seat post system. Who makes that? I just did my whole lawn with this. It takes 45 mins with my 30” mower. Takes about 2 hours with the Fiskars but I need the exercise.
