I built a custom mount for it. They do make a tabletop mount but I haven’t used it yet
I’m not 100% sure but if you do the IPad version, you can only get the 12” version

Question for you, if my background was a Viewsonic touchscreen ID2456 and I had a complete black background and I can annotate with it can that be done? So me in foreground and I annotate in background like a digital light board. Thank you for any reply
Yes, the key is harder with black however. Using green or blue will give you a better result compared to black. This is because black is a more common color across objects (watches, hair, etc) while green and blue used for keying are less common. That and a pigment or color being used for a key tends to isolate better than black. Black is represented by the absence of all 3 colors (RGB) in a digital medium. Hope that makes sense.
@@CorporateStreams so green screen,( which I like the Reflectmedia setup) as my background, me in foreground, then I key the green to say black or another color then I can write on it like a digital whiteboard. Is that correct? On a side note. I enjoy your videos. I purchased a prompter people pro line teleprompter after watching your review. Have you ever done a review with Reflectmedia Chromatte? Would love to see that with the Atem mini pro If you can do a review that would be fantastic Right now I am using the Epiphan Pearl 2 with 4k add on, 2 Sony FS5 MK2s along with a Viewsonic ID 2456 for annotations. I also have the Prompter People pro line I use for zoom calls with the epiphan bringing in guest thru SRT and UNO overlays. My only complaint is on the Pearl your in a box when you want to do a split screen or upper third and full view of the Viewsonic. With the ATEM it seems way nicer the way you presented it. Sorry for all the questions, I’m sure your busy, what are your thoughts on doing the Ultimatte 12 4K for the keying then using the Atem mini pro to move and size the foreground which would be me? Do you think that’s worth spending rather extra $? Is the quality that much better? I would do it if it’s worth it
@TheGoldenTriangleAcademy the ultimatte is better quality, but with the atem mini’s you’re only going to see 1080p not 4k.

A cheaper alternative to the Atem mini is to just use cheap capture cards 15 to 20 bucks each (You can use as many as you need on a powered USB hub) and just do the live switching on OBS using the different sources. Another thing to note, is that the Blackmagic cameras now feature USB webcam mode for added convenience.
Thanks for that! We considered this and even though they are a good option if price is you main consideration, we’ve had reliability issues with cheap capture cards so we do not recommend them :)
@@CorporateStreams I own about 5 and had no problems using them for many years. You can find them as cheap as 10 bucks if you don't mind waiting on shipping, they are cheap enough that if they do fail it's no big deal (i keep a spare). I found the cheaper ones to be more reliable (1080p 30hz) than the slightly more expensive 40 dollar ones (had some flicker) I stay away from 4k as they tend to get hot and are overkill for most streaming situations. Last, they allow me to turn my ipad pro into a monitor for my camera, you can also record 1080p video directly to the ipad or use your camera as a webcam.
After using both the M1 and C1, which system do you prefer, and why?
Thanks for asking, for most productions C1 is just right. The M1’s are ok for adding an extra group, but not worth it if you don’t care to add the party line (extra channel for crosstalk)
Could this work with an ENG camera? Like Panasonic PX380
Yes it can! I believe with lens your payload is 10-12 pounds with that camera, so you should be fine by itself or with the teleprompter!
@@CorporateStreams I run it with a fujinon zoom lens so it makes it long. Even though the camera is lighter I still have issues with the manfroto 504 wanting to drop forward or backward. Also do you know what mm the bowls are on those heads? 70mm or 100mm?

How is this hardware doing actual bonding unless you have another device on the other end located in a data center or somewhere with a fast, redundant connection? Sounds like it’s just load balancing with failover. You can’t bond multiple connections into a single one without something on the other end recombining the packets from the different ISPs back into a single connection.

If you're in one spot I'd consider a point to point (PTP) system. If you're on the move, a mr.net may be a better option.

My green screen works very well. But after I have gotten the position of the key and applied mask, the masking goes away after I click on chroma. At that point, when I click on the mask to adjust the entire picture on picture goes away. Very frustrating, I can't seem to work my way out of this
I think when switching from another type of key to chroma it resets the masking which is annoying. I think you may have to adjust the mask parameters if the image is not there by default. Check my channel for 7 tips for green screens. It may help
So its not possible to have a video source (like a HDMI-input) as a background behind me (as a subject)? I have a Mini PRO ISO, trying to get rid of the need of OBS Studio.
Yes you can do that with just the ATEM and without OBS studio. You can follow along with the video and do what I did with the computer but instead of the computer being your background you can make the HDMI video source your live background.

Did you ever solve the tilt issue with the Flex model?
I ended up putting a mini ball head between the teleprompter and the camera to adjust tilt. That worked well enough.
