The bronze piece with the floral decoration you point out at 14.10 looks to be part of a nicely decorated Medieval strap end to me, probably 14th Century.

A good video there, which shows the reality of our most fickle of hobbies. Some very true sentiments, it isn't about the 'great finds', as welcome as they are, most of the enjoyment comes from the stress release you get from being out in the beautiful countryside with your worries forgotten. I'm pleased to notice that you, like myself, only wear ONE glove out in the field, to scrape up the spoil whilst the other is left bare so you can feel the metal against the clinging earth.
