As someone who as a kid had parents that started out Baptist and then switched into charismatics, I find this message rather convicting. I remember my parents who said that Baptists pastors told them these things were of the devil, but couldn't explain why they were evil or show them from the Bible. Azusa was told as this awesome revival, but I see how the Bible condemns the disorder and occult practices.

A few theological problems with Santa: 1) You teach your kids that they are "good" because of their own self righteous deeds. What child has ever been deemed naughty by someone playing Santa, even if they are a horrible brat? The Bible says we have all sinned and are in need of a Savior. 2) All the Santa media promotes the new age concept of just believe in lies and nothingness. The Gospel is based on actual eyewitness testimony that will hold up in court and the Bible demonstrates its Divine origins by telling history before it happens. Jesus fulfilled so many prophecies there is no way it could have happened by chance. Christian faith is solid based on evidence. Faith in Santa is based on lies. 3) It is an invitation to the catholic church. Christmas is a catholic mass and Santa is based somewhat on a catholic saint as well as a pagan deity. Historically true believers wouldn't have anything to do with the catholic Christmas or the pagan Saturnalia.
