The footage of Joe Ely's Halloween 1984 Austin City Limits performance was taken from Season 10, Episode 8 of Austin City Limits, which aired in 1985. The episode featured Joe Ely and Eric Johnson & The Avenue.👍

I'd like to see Joe Ely and Jerry Jeff Walker perform on Austin City Limits from Season 5 in 1980. This was the sixth episode of the fifth season. Joe Ely made his first appearance on Austin City Limits in this episode, and special guest Butch Hancock joined him on stage. Later in the episode, Jerry Jeff Walker returned to the Austin City Limits stage to perform his musical roots.👍
