Hello everyone! My name is Emmie (not really though) and I am an adult LPS/trinket collector. This channel is about LPS (Littlest Pet Shop). I will be posting lots of videos about them. I post almost every Monday at 9, but my schedule can vary.

These are all very good points! It's endlessly fascinating to me how sort of the root cause of the main 5 popularity was LPS Popular and consequential LPSTubers using main 5s for their casts. Makes me wonder what the LPS community and LPS prices would be like if not for so many big LPSTubers using the main 5s! Would the prices be more affordable today? Would other LPS mold prices be higher instead? I guess we'll never know!

I always gravitate towards cats and dogs as my main characters, I can't help it. 😂 LPS Popular reprogrammed the community...smh. 😩🫢 But I have been branching out when buying my G7's and getting other molds like an otter, panda, bunny etc.

I cackled when you said that the male dogs party night and day 😂 I think the popularity set off around 2011-2014 because those were (from how I see it) very influential years of LPSTube. A lot of the big LPStubers were frequently making content and it brought viewers in. Plus, at that time, having a big collection bursting with rare pets wasn’t that important, people were just filming with what they had. Like SophieGTV, she bought her pets in stores so she picked the characters based on what she had in her own collection. Then later when collectors turned to buying resold lps, they may have bought those pets because that’s what people were using in their videos. Sorry for turning my comment into an essay but I loved this video! I hope you do more lps video essays in the future, they’re so fun to watch! 💕

I think main 5 pet are easier to dress up and put cute outfits on. Some of the other mold are cute but things like collars and skirts just dont fit right on them.
