SA air bnb, guesthouses can be full of unexpected surprises. I am glad you got a refund. I visited a place in Gordon's Bay once and the lady talked louder over my head. Some of the owners aren't experienced. Take bug spray, etc always with. I always go straight to the negative reviews. In an emergency you sometimes just hope for the best and just book.
