I sincerely hope you survive for many more hardcore days. Two tips that I can offer that may help is to build a wall around your camp and light up the area in it so nothing can spawn in. The second tip is to establish trades with villagers--that makes the game much easier, giving you access to a plethora of tools, armor, enchantments. I appreciate your content, play it safe out there, and don't give up.
