Extremely invasive and kills our native species, shame on you for selling this to unsuspecting gardeners
I bought same from home depot. Their label didn't say invasive.
Extremely invasive, almost impossible to contain. Beautiful yes,but bad for the environment of native species. Will be banned in most states soon
Best example of how to do this type of planting
I couldn’t find it on your website
I’ve read it’s quite invasive. How can I keep it from getting away from me?
Great tips, especially about using the grape hyacinths to mark the plantings.
Yes, beautiful in the Fall when in bloom, but horribly invasive! Sadly, I have been working several years trying to eradicate it! Tiresome! It started in my neighbors yard, and is now choking out my shrubs, flowers, trees, anything it comes up in. 😫
Plant native Clematis virginiana instead. This is an invasive species.
Love my Empress Wu hostas. Planted in 2019 and they are huge!
I bought a Burkes Red Varigated pine tree last year. Love the branches. But this year I don't see much growth and some of the tips are brown. Not sure if I'm doing something wrong. 6a full sun area
Hello, thank you for your question! The most common conditions that limit new growth are inadequate sunlight, inadequate watering, lack of nutrients, or high PH of the soil. Other factors could also affect new growth. Insect and disease damage could be the cause. Look closely for marks, bugs, pests, etc. to see if an insecticide or fungicide is needed. Your local arborist or nursery would provide the best diagnosis by looking at samples of the needles and photos.
Nice, thank you.
Beautiful and I love the scent, but these are incredibly invasive. Please remember that before making a commitment to thus plant.
I just got an order from you in the mail today! I ordered Darkside of the Moon Astilbe and Supertunia Persimmon and they came out of the box looking amazing. I’ve ordered from you a few times but that’s it so far this year. I’m in Kentucky Zone 7A and I’m too impatient to wait for things to show up here!
Hello Denise! We are so happy you enjoyed your order. Thanks for shopping with us!
Looking forward to visiting your location. I am in need of pet friendly plants in my new home.

Like to visit greenhouse soon w/2 of my friends who love plants
Romence is my absolute favorite online plant retailer. The quality and size of the plants, not to mention the packaging...chef's kiss. @aisle.of.blooms2
I have been ordering from your company for several years now and can honestly say I have never been disappointed. They always arrive packaged well n and plants themselves are absolutely beautiful. Also the plants arrive right around the correct time for planting season in my area which is in southwestern PA. Several days ago just placed my order for plants for this coming season. By the way the spokesperson that did this video did a great job. Loved her upbeat personality.
It is great to hear you have had a positive experience with us. Thank you for your kind words! Katey Romence, the person featured in this video, is part of the third generation of our family-owned business. We will make sure to pass on the positive feedback.
Love your plants <3 Hope to place another order this spring! @aim413ee

I’ve never heard that tip of soaking the roots, so thank you; I will try that this year! I live in Georgia, 8a, and I’ve actually planted a few of my discarded bulbs in the yard, and was pleasantly surprised when the lovely blooms appeared the following Spring! I’ve ordered so much from Romence Gardens, and I’m always so pleased!
After you have put all the plants in the last planter, how do you get the dirt inside with all of the plants in?
So we begin with a layer of soil to bring it closer to the top before placing plants. Once you have all your plants in their spaces you fill in the gaps with soil...I usually use an empty pot or my hand and then firmly pack it down around and water in well. Sometimes you won't have a lot of gaps due to the number of plants and the excess soil on them so just fill where needed. I hope that makes sense :-) Thanks for watching - Katey
Can the bulb lasagne be done in pots? If so, should the pot be left in the garage over winter?
Was also wondering if you can do this in a pot.
I LOVE this! Can't wait to do some planting this weekend!
We're glad you enjoyed, let us know how it goes! 😊
