Nice video
If your still on UA-cam, thank you! Chasing a leak on my m54 525i
Can’t believe it was that easy! Back in alignment. Thank you!
This is a very very good idea
Where did you purchase the cowls. I got R/s from Muscle car central (AMD)and needed to split and pull apart upper inside corner and patch and weld. D/s i got from American performance (Ebay) aka Taiwan absolute junk., Is there anything made in America anymore?
i have to replace this on my x3, it broke the exact same way as yours. i had no clue what this hose was called. thank you sir, i hope life is treating you well.
great job thanks

Your help and video helped me install mine with a lot of trial and error but overall I was successful thank you !
Great video!
and rust starts inside out right after welding
change mine today. Had the same problem!
Where did you find the correct rivets? Thanks
I found them on ebay
What did you end up doing with the vin tag?
I drilled out the rivets on the old dash and installed the vin tag on the new one with the correct rosette rivets.
I just did this to my 200 xcw and it worked great 👍
Awesome job!
Thanks a Lot for sharing. I have a 2006 F-150 truck, and I don't have tis problem, but my antenna is not working good, it may be that the orange cable terminal is loose, etc., but sinse I don't have extra time, I will purchase a new smaller antena and replace it for the old one. Your video helped me to take action. Thanks again.
So it doesn’t bend again, I would jam a piece of metal in the 1” gap.
I like how you took your time with the cut. Easy thing to forget. Cool gadget
Hello, where did you get these dies from you used to cut the holes; what brand and number is it?
They're Greenlee dies which I got on Ebay. The 2" one (#5004061) is a actually a 1 & 1/2" conduit die that cuts almost 2" inches, it's a common size which is easy to find used. All the conduit dies cut bigger than what's stated on them. The 2 & 1/4" (#500-4059) cuts the actual size and is harder to find used.
Great vid on adding power windows to A-Body with tips and errors to avoid
Unfortunately my man was learning how to use his mig wielder on my floor pan replacements..their solid but a bit splatters on bottom...i wasn't making a trailer Queen..ive drove over 200.000 miles in 20 years.Great job you did...
I did a similar repair to my 69 RS. When I took the car apart, the portion at the bottom of the windshield looked really good. I couldn't figure out why it wasn't rusty. After poking at it with a screwdriver I discovered it was all fiberglass covering major rust. The previous owner actually used metal shelf brackets to span the rust voids. I found similar low quality repairs all over the car. I guess its to be expected in a 50+ year old car especially if you live in a state that uses salt on the roads in winter like mine does.
gloves ......lol
Great video and idea. Thanks.
What symptoms were you having before finding the broken hose?
It actually ran just fine but I was getting a lean code that would come and go.
The OEM 200 pipe is better than any of the aftermarket pipes performance wise. The only issue is that it was very lightly built.
Well done! Thank you for sharing. 😷👍
Good job!
What, you can't cut a straight line? The hole in the post is tacky
Thats a pretty cool model to make for cutting 4x4s posts
What did you use to cut out the spot welds?
I used the premium Blair 3/8 spotweld cutter with the drill in the center and a no name solid cutter, both worked well.
That's one way to dull a new blade
Excellent
Get rid of that crappy porter cable recip. Use a Milwaukee for gods sake.
@Principatus 35 yr Carpenter. You’re way off. They rattle your bones to the core. Last me 2 yrs. An average super sawzall last me 5.
That’s for people who can’t get their heights right from start
Great ideal man!! Thanks for sharing
You know you’re getting old when this is what you watch on UA-cam for fun.
Lol
I do it easy with a handsaw. Rubbish idea
Great video and the sheet metal is the perfect fix for not cutting into the wood . Thanks for a great video.
Awesome fix . Simple easy and no cost . Thanks for the great video.
You could have saved yourself half the cutting by using a circular saw first.
