I get that, my deck is more focused on attacking as quickly as possible. Plus, I tried the Grand Tree for at least 20 games. I only got it 3 times. It only worked once and this is it. 😅

Thank you for watching the Pult video and all of the compliments! 🥺 Thinking about it, Grand Tree could work but Sparkling Crystal is more ideal because the Dragapult deck doesn’t play a lot of energy. Plus, the Arven combo to get both Pidgeot and Pult is extremely consistent. With all of the Grand Tree matches I’ve tested out so far with different types of decks, I don’t get the stadium 90% of the time. 😅

@@avatarklash thats fair, i agree with u thats why u run more energy, i use 9, 4-4 and 1 luminous, if u attach every turn u dont need to waste a supporer for turn on getting energy acceleration, and there are plenty more ways to get energy then there is to evolve pult, u can use crispin, mela, exp share if you need it, and attach per turn with that should be fine, its harder to actually get pult out than it is to accel energy just run more, all u need to start is at least 1 dreepy 1 energy and colress, but playing grand tree myself, because its so fast sometimes your basics dont keep up with grand trees evolutions, and so if you dont get buddy poffin fast enough thats the biggest problem in grand tree and honestly pult decks in general

if u have just a zard in hand, cant u use grand tree to evolve then manually put the zard to evolve. that still activate infernal reign. grand tree is good for dusknoir which manipulates the prize mapping for briar

I can easily evolve the Charmander to Zard without the tree but I get what you’re saying too. Plus, I would rather Candy Pidgeot since it’s easier to use the tree to evolve Charmander to Charizard assuming that you have Charmeleon in the deck. 😎

@@avatarklash The tree is for consistency and fancy plays with dusknoir. That's all, ofc you can evolve to charizard with something else, but it enables more combos. You just have to remember to not evolve into charizard

Yeah, every ACE Spec has its pros and cons but at least the Devo tactic is not as bad when you have Grand Tree in play! 😎

I can see the benefits of using Grand Tree but I would personally rather still use Unfair Stamp. Grand Tree can be counterproductive especially against a Dragapult player. 😅

Also if you evolve all the way with charizard you won't get zards energy ability it has to evolve from the hand. Tree is good for pidgeot and dusk

I understand that completely! I actually won against a Regidrago deck with this Zard deck pretty easily but you’re right, it’s not the most ideal matchup at all! 😅 I go into detail about my specific gameplay in my previous tournament report video if that’s helpful! 😎
