How crazy is my new limerence, he’s not even alive anymore, (although I didn’t know that when I first noticed him) yet I’m still doing the looking my best bit plus not eating as much as usual but I think that’s in response to these intense feelings rather than trying to lose weight.
Thanks for explaining what LO stands for I did wonder. I’m new to the word limerence and its meaning but I’ve had so many what I thought were quite intense crushes over the years. A lot of these were probably actually limerence.
I get the impression this guy is confusing "limerence" with "a crush".
what's up with the red flashes at 12:15?
No contact will work eventually. But quitting your job, your hobbies or certain friend groups because of romantic obsession will really take a toll on your overall life experience. I'd try to find a way first to peacefully coexist so you don't have to give them that much control over your life. But if it's possible without collaterals (eg an ex or an acquaintance that you can just stop seeing), then go no contact.
I have disclosed twice , in both cases we were b h single and they had led me on and then retracted. It was the right choice because it made a continuation of the whatever-that-was impossible and I could eventually move on, even though it took me a while.
Transfer attention to yourself, your betterment, peace and security.
I'm practicing self love, understanding and forgiveness. I have a short period in my lifetime.
The pyschologist do not understand 😊
Yes I have been limerant for 3.5 years for a guy I hardly know. It almost drove me crazy my mental health suffered. I feel ashamed. He has blocked me.
I am limerant but it has consumed for 3.5 years it destroyed me.
No,,
You are beautiful and worthy of unconditional happiness and love, it is your divine birthright. Nobody can take your essence away from you. Prayer to say before sleep... In the Name of Jesus I close all portals and gateways, in all realms and dimensions, binding access to both my conscious and subconscious as well as my spirit being, I bind plans and attempts to project evil against me and on to me. God knows the plans he has for me they are for good and not evil. I bind every abominable act of darkness and every attack of evil. I release the spirit of the Living LOVING God to come forth and fill up all my realms and dimensions, all my portals and gateways, my conscious and subconscious, my spirit, body, mind, soul, and also my flesh, my earthly land and my spiritual inheritance! HALLELUJAH! So be it. So it is. It is done. All is well in my world!
With each person having different mental formations, how can this be the only solution for each person? Each person will learn how to face this and overcome this in a different journey.
What is with open relationships?
What if they are in your social circle where you cannot cut them out?
No. That’s called being a Simp
The paradox of these relationships revolves around the mystique which generates its own biochemistry to which we become, literally, addicted. Hence, "love addiction" is often named after this term we now call limerence and what Freud once called "cathexis". The irony, which was touched upon in one of these videos, is that the relationship often does an about face when the relationship is consummated because it was ever all about the dopamine of anticipation and all the other chemicals generated in ones body resulting from fantasizing about the person --not by necessarily finally having the person !
We need more videos please
When you realize the relationship will never happen, learn to hate them. Write down 5 things you dont like about them and dwell on them.
What hapoens if the opposite of limerence, i mean they have arrogant attitude towards attraction n love?
Ugh. I’m shattered 😢
Around 11:00: The person suffering from limerence often IMAGINES scenarios (meeting up with the Limerent Object in a hotel, "riding off into the sunset") and those phantasies _fuel_ hope. (Or hopium as it is called by those that have some insight into the condition. It has strong elements of addiction and of obsessive compulsive disorder).
7:14 Symptoms - pdf mentioned by Dr. Perl https: //digitalcommons. sacredheart. edu/cgi/viewcontent.cgi?article=1134&context=psych_fac I added some blanks so I will not trigger a spam filter A paper by Albert Wakin (pdf) is recommended for a description of limerence. I thought that to be in love either someone was simpler than that. 😂
Great reply... very informative!
Thank you
I work with them. I'm going crazy for 6 years
Yes please I LIKED it TOO 😮
Seems very essy from the outside to tell someone to get over the holocaust i guess. Not sure what the point is, that trauma isnt real and you just need to be a big boy about it? Thats terrible advice.
Facts
I thought this was a joke. How boring.
What is stonewalling? Never heard the word.
Came here to ask this
Smelling himself 😊
"We were wolves once, wild and wary, stealth and cunning...and then we saw you had couches." 😂❤🐕
Mom is in need of therapy.
Although he looks like he is on the therapy couch 😂
My dogs have a whole leather sectional to lounge on. My husband sits on the floor 😂
We have two husky’s who love being in their armchair’s! Our armchairs that is. Wouldn’t have it any other way. I keep my house and dogs very clean, so what’s the issue? He’s super cute, hope he wins his seat! 😂
My dog is a heavy shedder. He has his own bed but I don't let him in my beds or on my furniture.
I'd rather have the dog sitting beside me on the couch than that guy any way.
Your dogs ass full of shit is on the furniture!
A dog is not a person its a +&$#@+ dog you people are GROSS!!
He sniffs his butt wondering if this might be the reason they don't want him sitting on furniture😂
If you don’t want him on there tell him to get off. Simple. If he respects you then it won’t be a problem…fyi
Being a person that upset a couple of people on the internet let their dog sit on furniture is a huge red flag lol
My dog sits right beside me ❤ Its a connection of Trust and Love 🫶
Human insanity
Have you seen the prices of expensive furniture? Seems like a pretty sane decision to me.
@gomogo2000 - expensive or not expensive, it all wears out the same way. I was talking about taking an animal to a psychiatrist....that is pure insanity.
@@pegicairnes4519 Cool! I agree. 😊
My animals can have whatever they want. Sorry lol
He's a weimer huh? Best ears on the planet! Just gorgeous. Please people get help for yourselves if you limit your fur babies to the floor only ❤
