Porcelain Podcasts Episode 5 Peter Ewence
This is Episode No. 5, presented by us, Jay and Alan, sharing the oral histories of Royal Worcester with you. Join us as we find out about the experiences of Peter Ewence, a designer who had a huge impact on Royal Worcester. We chose him because he really did instigate change when he arrived at the factory in 1959. You would probably recognise some of the designs he worked on, such as the famous 'Evesham' pattern. We hope you enjoy Peter's stories including designing for the Sultan of Oman and Queen Elizabeth!

Thank you sir for sharing your knowledge! ❤
Your father was such an informative, kind and enthusiastic addition to the antiques roadshow and his love and appreciation and passion for royal Worcester, China, etc. was a very evident. He is sadly missed. Thank you so much for posting this. I enjoyed watching him throughout the many years. (my grandmother, who is born in Worcester (1899) immigrated to the United States (1921) and then to Canada. Her father, my grandfather J. B worked as a Kilman for the Royal Worcester company. What years he would’ve worked there I am trying to research that, we do have a couple of pieces he have a hand in making. 😊)
I am a huge fan too of royal worcester !
Mr. Sandon, please accept my condolences on the death of your father. I just found out this week while watching a British Antiques Roadshow episode. I enjoyed his passion for porcelain (and your own.) I love porcelain myself so anytime that either of you were featured in the program, I knew that something good was about to happen. Thank you for sharing your father with the world of antique lovers.
Wonderful exposé, as usual. Thank you for uploading.

Brilliant. Thank you.
Mr. Sandon's knowledge is legendary but his rendering makes this conference very tedious. Still, worth watching it. Thank you for the upload.
