Not having a table saw can feel limiting! I teamed up with Kreg Tool to showcase 10 different cuts that are traditionally done on a table saw, without actually needing a table saw. Table saws can be expensive, and they also take up a lot of space - hopefully this gives you some options! Enjoy! • @MakingMadeSimple

      It fills the gaps between all of the cracked mirror pieces so that the entire piece is fairly level. In addition to that, it also gives the backboard a glossy black finish, as opposed to being matte. This is visible around 0:13

    You used 3 power tools 😅

    • @MakingMadeSimple
      @MakingMadeSimple 27 днів тому

      That's true! But I did give disclaimers during the video. The only tool necessary was the circular saw. 1. The sander - I mentioned you can hand sand with sandpaper. I used a sander to save time. 2. The drill - I mentioned that shelf could sit there with wood glue, but I chose to use screws. Without being weight-bearing, either option works. Another option is to just leave that back shelf out entirely, if this will be against the wall

    Hello there, just curious. Why there's no carpentry joints or grooves inbetween the pieces of wood but just glue to stick them together? Is this durable for long time? Wont they come off. Thanks in advance

    • @MakingMadeSimple
      @MakingMadeSimple Місяць тому

      Thanks for asking! When it comes to cutting boards, wood glue provides adequate strength for years to come. No need for grooves or anything fancy because the wood glue is enough to hold it together. You just gotta use the right stuff. That being water-resistant glue that's also food-safe 👍🏼

    I thought tinting the back glass window is not good for the Tesla? I’ve backs shattered for whatever reason.

    • @MakingMadeSimple
      @MakingMadeSimple 3 місяці тому

      I don't believe this to be the case for the back glass, I've only heard that about the roof. From my understanding, a lot of ceramic tints don't let the heat get past the tint. So if the glass roof is tinted, which gets hit directly by sunlight frequently, the heat goes through the glass and essentially gets trapped between the glass and the tint, causing it to shatter. I didn't tint my roof, so I have no clue whether it actually happens, but I've heard it can.
