That's a great idea! It is crazy how we can find an easy flaw (corner white or centering issue) after we send it to grade. So many times I look at the scans they do before they grade and wonder how I though that card was centered. I'll have to look into a dremel.

Oh yeah absolutely. I've gotten an PSA 8 that I cracked and sent to SGC and got a 9 there. Then recently got an SGC 8 and now that 6. I'm probably crack the 6 and look it over to see if that scratch is what I missed. I'm on a mission to get an PSA 9!

Yeah, I looked up some 10s afterwards and both the front printing error and the back issues were not there. Oh well, it is a card I remember collecting growing up so I'm not to upset on the grade. Thanks for the info.

Thanks! Yeah those two just look great. I was happy on that sale as it was a card that has been in the “9” stack to grade forever and didn’t think it would move quickly. Also the offer came in when I was at eBay HQ too.

Thanks! Yeah I just looked up a few 10s on eBay and those didn’t have the mark or the paper issues on the back. So maybe it was a combination of both. Funny thing is someone has their 10 listed for $50k cause they say the black mark is an error.

@@michaeldenzer6024this order actually came from Santa Ana. When I ship out originally I just use USPS Priority. But I do select FedEx for when they ship back. The other 2 orders I got back this week all came from NJ. But those actually took a little longer over all. Probably cause they had to ship from CA to NJ in the beginning.

Yeah I want to start doing that too. I just get lazy after I have edited the video and want to get it posted asap verse doing the next pass of tracking down prices etc. But I plan on working that into future vids. For this submission the Yordan was the most expensive card at $18 everything else I got for around $1-$6.

I know, they were pretty great. And really didn't have much misses either way. I could see one or two cards going up or down but that really is it.

I sell everything. Grading is what I enjoy as I can have all these different types of cards for however long it takes to sell. But there are some cards that if they don't sell or takes longer that I am fine with just having around. I do love 90s and early 00s and enjoy hunting for those to grade. Thanks for watching!

Thanks for watching! I’ve defused the opposite where SGC is pretty lenient on grades especially surface if it doesn’t affect eye appeal. They still grade correct/ tough on corners, edges center. I’ve had a few PSA 8s that has an indent crossover to SGC 10s or 9.5. And a few SGC 9.5 that had scratches. It’s just something I think about now when sending in to either or if I was thinking of buying a SGC 10 to crack and cross over.

Yeah I think a bit of both; some tightening up and some "user error". I tried to press my luck with non-surfaces issues like the corners and SGC isnt as forgiving on those as surface.

So it definitely is a loss money wise for that individual card. I meant it as, it was a low value card and not the end of the world it didn't get a 10 verse if a "bigger" card got a 9 or 8 when I was wanting a 10. Thanks for watching!

Yeah over all the grader was pretty solid. I could see why they did what they did at least.

I would say maybe 30-40% are football but i’m starting to ramp that up so leading into the new season I have plenty to sell. I’ve been doing a lot of baseball to have now.

Interesting and makes sense. My last two orders both shipped from CA but I could see one being sent to NJ and back and still be faster. I'll have to look out on up coming orders to see where they ship from.

Got most of the gunk off the Malone, probably still an 8 but I might send in just cuz I like it!

Oh that’s interesting and good to know. When usps closed my case when I was trying to find the package their email said to reach out to the send. I did get eBay to refund the order so in the end all worked out. 🤞 don’t have to deal with that again. Thanks for watching.

I would say if it is just one or maybe two really fine scratches AND everything else is perfect then you have a shot at a 10 but I always assume a 9 when I send in a card like that. I have had it workout both ways.

Yeah I was happy that there wasn’t many grading duds in those orders. Will be fun when a $15 special comes around and can go through all the built up 9+ and see what’s worth it.

Wanted to comment something related to this. This is meant to be constructive... You REALLY need to improve the types of cards you're choosing to buy for grading. If you're goal to make good profits.

I agree. I have found the best profit from 25 to 75$ cards. Buying them raw then grading. I've done really well so far. It is better to go to a card show to see the card in person if you've graded before you know what to look for to get top $. But base stuff you have to get a 10 or you've lost already. To risky.

Yeah, I’ve done that in a previous one but for this one I was just a little lazy and wanted to get video out. I’ll be going through these stacks this week for submission and will show break down. I’ll try and do it in future mail day videos too.

Thanks! So the 2nd pile shown was 20 cards that totaled $120.73 so about $6.35 a card (tax and shipping are a bitch). The 3rd pile was 40 cards at $170.74 so $4.25. So those two orders together breakdown to $4.83 a card.

Exactly, I'm in Oakland, CA should be pretty simple to either see someones address and prompt them to send to the correct location. Or have your system know where the back log is and send directly to a different location. I would rather have sent straight to NJ and cut out some more travel time.

I definitely need to dabble some more in basketball, I just don't follow it anymore. But I do love finding the 90s/00s stars and seeing what can gem out of those cards. This order just was sent off but I do have some basketball in a few that are at PSA🤞

When u submit do u just sign both copy’s to psa only ? Or fill out the time and date on forms

@@ricardoguillen4731nope no need for any of that. They fill in all the date info etc. just make sure you put both PSA copies in your order.
