I am a rug weaver. I also spin wool yarn which I hand dye. On our farm we keep 12 Border Leicester ewes and one llama for predator control.

Very nice!!
Thank you, quite a bit of work, but worth it.
You are really good at spinning. I do the short draw I guess. Although I have a RIo Grange Wheel also. I guess that might be considered kind of a long draw.
Try a class on long draw. Or there is likely a UA-cam video on it.
Well no but someday with my other farm animals like sheepdog
Just put up some new ones.
It’s a border Leicester I love border Leicester ewe
I have border Leicester ewes and now some Finn ewes. I like variety in my spinning fibers. do you have border leicesters?
Where did you get the bell
Probably got it in Switzerland when I was visiting.
Nice video do you want to watch mine
I have more. My son will be adding them in the coming months
Glad you enjoyed watching it. We do the hoof trimming in fall and spring.
Gannon, the llama, has a beautiful fleece, including the buttocks.
What you are clipping from the feet is nail. You want to clip the nails fairly close to the foot pad. The sheep are wearing coats to protect the fleeces from hay chaff and from the lambs who are likely to walk on the ewes backs and ruin the fleece. The coats are put on in the fall when we start haying the sheep and taken off at shearing time in April.
4:34 damn that Llama has a nice buttocks!
Your videos are great! Would love to see more!
