I have heard so much hate for his performance and yeah I somewhat get it because he is certainly not perfect but I love how much heart he is giving and he is obviously still talented. I think it was just a mistake to cast him as a character that has to carry the whole thing instead of someone who can get one or two good songs that really play to his strengths.
